MINUTES CITY COUNCIL NOVEMBER 14, 1990 Blesener suggested that City staff put together a letter to apartment owners and managers which can be circulated to residents explaining the City's ordinance regulations. Hueman asked how the City will address the unsecured grills that are on balconies. Fahey replied that the City will try to work with the apartment owners to get these grills into compliance. Fahey also informed Hueman that the City will provide her with copies of the Council minutes outlining the previous discussion the Council had on this subject. Hueman reported that the Fire Chief informed her that every new tenant moving into an apartment building is supposed to receive a copy of the City's fire regulations. Fahey agreed that this was a good idea. Fahey stated that the apartment owners will be requested to get the unattached grills into compliance with Code. The Administrator will also request that apartment owners give tenants, as a matter of policy, copies of fire regulations. It was also suggested that an article addressing the issue be included in the City's Spring newsletter. MOSTAD PLAT Council reviewed the City Administrator's memo indicating that the City's Ordinance provides that the platting of the Mostad property can be done by Registered Land Survey. Mr. Fahey introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION NO. 90-11-513 - ACCEPTING A REGISTERED LAND SURVEY IN CONNECTION WITH THE MOSTAD PROPERTY DIVISION The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Scalze. Ayes (5) Fahey, Scalze, Collova, LaValle, Blesener. Nays (0). Resolution declared adopted. COUNTY Council reviewed the recommendations of the City DITCH N0. 16 Engineer and City Administrator regarding the City's participation in the cost of storm sewer extensions in conjunction with County Ditch No. 16.
