MINUTES <br />CITY COUNCIL <br />NOVEMBER 14, 1990 <br />Blesener suggested that City staff put together a <br />letter to apartment owners and managers which can be <br />circulated to residents explaining the City's ordinance <br />regulations. <br />Hueman asked how the City will address the unsecured <br />grills that are on balconies. <br />Fahey replied that the City will try to work with the <br />apartment owners to get these grills into compliance. <br />Fahey also informed Hueman that the City will provide <br />her with copies of the Council minutes outlining the <br />previous discussion the Council had on this subject. <br />Hueman reported that the Fire Chief informed her that <br />every new tenant moving into an apartment building is <br />supposed to receive a copy of the City's fire <br />regulations. <br />Fahey agreed that this was a good idea. Fahey stated <br />that the apartment owners will be requested to get the <br />unattached grills into compliance with Code. The <br />Administrator will also request that apartment owners <br />give tenants, as a matter of policy, copies of fire <br />regulations. <br />It was also suggested that an article addressing the <br />issue be included in the City's Spring newsletter. <br />MOSTAD PLAT Council reviewed the City Administrator's memo <br />indicating that the City's Ordinance provides that the <br />platting of the Mostad property can be done by <br />Registered Land Survey. <br />Mr. Fahey introduced the following resolution and moved <br />its adoption: <br />RESOLUTION NO. 90-11-513 - ACCEPTING A REGISTERED LAND <br />SURVEY IN CONNECTION WITH THE MOSTAD PROPERTY DIVISION <br />The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Scalze. <br />Ayes (5) Fahey, Scalze, Collova, LaValle, Blesener. <br />Nays (0). <br />Resolution declared adopted. <br />COUNTY Council reviewed the recommendations of the City <br />DITCH N0. 16 Engineer and City Administrator regarding the City's <br />participation in the cost of storm sewer extensions in <br />conjunction with County Ditch No. 16. <br />Mr. Blesener introduced the following resolution and <br />Page 8 <br />
