MINUTES <br />CITY COUNCIL <br />JANUARY 23, 1991 <br />Mr. Blesener introduced the following resolution and <br />moved its adoption: <br />RESOLUTION NO. 91-1-32 - PROVIDING FOR THE PUBLICATION <br />OF THE TITLE AND SUMMARY OF AN ORDINANCE AMENDING <br />CERTAIN SECTIONS OF ORDINANCE NO. 196, CABLE FRANCHIS~ <br />ORDINANCE, OF THE CITY OF LITTLE CANADA <br />The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Scalze. <br />Ayes (5) Blesener, Scalze, Collova, LaValle, Hanson. <br />Nays (0). <br />Resolution declared adopted. <br />FIR~ STATION/ The City Administrator reported that at this time the <br />CITY CENTER Fire Station project is under budget without tapping <br />PROJECTS the continqency fund. The Administrator reviewed <br />change-orders for the project, recommending Council <br />approval. The scope of work for the change-orders <br />include completion of asphalt paving in Spring of 1991; <br />added telephone and data outlets; furnish and install <br />roof opening and skylight frames; omit block wall in <br />storage room; paint apparatus room ceiling; relocation <br />of water service per the County; and relocation of gas <br />service. <br />Mr. Blesener introduced the following resolution and <br />moved its adoption: <br />RESOLUTION N0. 91-1-33 - APPROVING CHANGE-ORDERS FOR <br />THE FIRE STATION PROJECT AS RECOMMENDED BY THE CITY <br />ADMINISTRATOR <br />The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by LaValle. <br />Ayes (5) Blesener, LaValle, Scalze, Hanson, Collova. <br />Nays (0). <br />Resolution declared adopted. <br />The City Administrator reported that the City Center <br />expansion project is also under budget at this time <br />without using the contingency fund. Again, the <br />Administrator reviewed changed orders recommended for <br />approval for the expansion project. The scope of worlc <br />for the change-orders include addition of support <br />column; preparation and painting of existing window <br />frames; addition of tapered insulation to upper roof; <br />revision of cabinets at Room #113; revised exterior <br />wall treatment at West Entrance; revision of ceiling at <br />Rooms #111 and #112; addition of concrete maintenance <br />slab at South Elevation; revised ceiling elevation in <br />Council Chambers; addition of electric cabinet unit <br />heater; revise ceiling insulation. <br />Page 11 <br />
