MINUTES <br />CITY COUNCIL <br />JANUARY 23, 1991 <br />VALENTO Mr. Blesener introduced the following resolution and <br />VARIANCE moved its adoption: <br />~XTENSION <br />RESOLUTION NO. 91-1-29 - APPROVING A ONE YEAR EXTENSION <br />OF VARIANCE APPROVAL FOR LOT 3, BLOCK 3, THUNDER BAY <br />ESTATES AS REQUESTED BY DON VALENTO <br />The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by LaValle. <br />Ayes (5) Blesener, LaValle, Scalze, Collova, Hanson. <br />Nays (0). <br />Resolution declared adopted. <br />TRANSFER oF Mr. Joe Saaco appeared before the Council regarding his <br />GAME ROOM request for transfer of the game room license for <br />LICENSE Bankshot Billiards to JJ's Bankshot Billiards. <br />Blesener pointed out the Council's discussions with the <br />previous owners of Bankshot Billiards regarding the <br />operation of the business. <br />LaValle reported that he has had a discussion with Mr. <br />Saaco regarding concerns about how the business is <br />operated and that the City will be monitoring such <br />things as the number of police calls at the business. <br />Mr. Blesener introduced the following resolution and <br />moved its adoption: <br />RESOLUTION NO. 91-1-30 - APPROVING THE TRANSFER OF GAME <br />ROOM LICENSE FROM BANKSHOT BILLIARDS TO JJ'S BANKSHOT <br />BILLIARDS <br />The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by LaValle. <br />Ayes (5) Blesener, LaValle, Collova, Hanson, Scalze. <br />Nays (0). <br />Resolution declared adopted. <br />WOODLYNN Mr. Bruce Kath appeared before the Council and reported <br />AVENUE that when the fuel tanks at Kath Bros. were installed, <br />VACATION they were mistakenly installed encroaching onto the <br />road right-of-way for Woodlynn Avenue. <br />The City Administrater reported that the right-of-way <br />was deeded to the City in 1981 and the survey <br />information used at the time the building permit was <br />issued did not show the right-of-way. A new survey of <br />the property has been prepared and the encroachment was <br />discovered. <br />The Administrator reported that the City Engineer has <br />reviewed the situation and the portion of right-of-way <br />Page 9 <br />
