MINUTES <br />CITY COUNCIL <br />February 27, 1991 <br />Blesener, Collova, and LaValle supported returning the <br />two license to the Legislature. <br />The City Attorney again pointed out option of <br />restricting the number of liquor licenses under City <br />Code. <br />Scalze, Collova, and Blesener supported Class A and B <br />on-sale liquor licenses. Blesener suggested that some <br />of the standards for a Class A license could be a <br />$750,000 building valuation and a 40/60 percent split <br />between liquor and food. Council agreed. <br />RECESS At this point in the meeting, 9:20 P.M., Council took <br />short recess. The meeting was reconvened at 9:25 P.M. <br />TEMPORARY Scalze pointed out the letter received from Steve <br />LIQUOR Morelan of the Recreation Association regarding <br />LICENSES temporary liquor licenses and suggested that the City <br />Attorney review Morelan's concerns and be prepared to <br />address them at the March 13th Council meeting. Action <br />on the proposed Liquor Ordinance is scheduled for the <br />March 13th Council meeting. <br />PARKING The City Administrator reported that the County has <br />RESTRICTIONS requested that the City adopt parking restrictions on <br />COUNTY County Road B relating to street reconstruction. <br />ROAD B <br />Mr. Blesener introduced the following resolution and <br />moved its adoption: <br />RESOLUTION NO. 91-2-74 - REQUESTING RAMSEY COUNTY TO <br />RESTRICT PARKING ALONG A PORTION OF COUNTY ROAD B <br />The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by LaValle. <br />Ayes (4) Blesener, LaValle, Collova, Scalze. <br />Nays (o). <br />Resolution declared adopted. <br />CITY CENTER The City Administrator reviewed change-orders in <br />& FIRE connection with the City Center and Fire Station <br />STATION projects. For the City Center these included a <br />drop-ceiling in the open office area, relocation of a <br />ceramic tile wall, additional conduit and transformers <br />with mounting brackets for Cable TV, revised design <br />layout of interior plan of existing offices, furnish <br />and install additional vestibule heater. For the Fire <br />Station these change-orders included furnishing <br />Page 10 <br />
