MINUTES <br />CITY COUNCIL <br />February 27, 1991 <br />electrical interlock hook-up of remote burner units and <br />furnish and install cord reels. <br />Mr. LaValle introduced the following resolution and <br />moved its adoption: <br />RESOLUTION NO. 91-2-75 - APPROVING CHANGE-ORDERS N0. <br />11, AND 12 FOR THE FIRE STATION AND N0. 9, 11, 12, 16, <br />AND 17 FOR THE CITY CENTER PROJECT AS RECOMMENDED BY <br />THE CITY ADMINISTRATOR <br />The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Blesener. <br />Ayes (4) LaValle, Blesener, Collova, Scalze. <br />Nays (0). <br />Resolution declared adopted. <br />HAZMAT The City Administrator reported that the only change in <br />CoNTRACT the Hazmat Contract that the City has with the City of <br />St. Paul is the fee. The cost of contract is <br />increasing from $1,110 to $1,199.50. The Administrator <br />reported that both he and the Fire Chief recommend <br />approval. <br />Mr. LaValle introduced the following resolution and <br />moved its adoption: <br />RESOLUTION N0. 91-2-76 - APPROVING AN AMENDMENT TO TI-I~ <br />CITY'S HAZMAT CONTRACT WITA THE CITY OF ST. PAUL <br />INCREASING THE ANNUAL FEE TO $1,199.50 BASED ON THE <br />RECOMMENDATION OF THE CITY ADMINISTRATOR AND THE FIRE <br />CHIEF <br />The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Blesener. <br />Ayes (4) LaValle, Blesener, Collova, Scalze. <br />Nays (0). <br />Resolution declared adopted. <br />BACHMEIER The City Administrator reported that the Bachmeier <br />PROJECT Corporation is trying to finalize financing for the <br />project they are proposing on the Grieman property. <br />Once financing is finalized, negotiations will continue <br />on the project. <br />PURCHASE OF The Council reviewed the memo from Public Works <br />MOWER Superintendent dated February 27, 1991 regarding <br />purchase of a rotary mower for park maintenance. Three <br />quotations were received, and Public Works is <br />recommending that the bid of McQueen Equipment be <br />awarded since the low bid from Polfus Implement did not <br />meet all of the City's specifications. <br />Page 11 <br />
