MINUTES <br />CITY COUNCIL <br />February 27, 1991 <br />that use the City's fields have between 17 and 20 <br />percent residents not counting those individuals who <br />work within the City. Morelan did not feel that figure <br />was out-of-line with other cities. Morelan indicated <br />that most cities do charge an extra fee if the <br />percentage of residents falls below a certain level. <br />Mr. Blesener introduced the following resolution and <br />moved its adoption: <br />RESOLUTION NO. 91-2-78 - APPROVING AND ADOPTING AN <br />ADULT TEAM MAINTENANCE FEE OF $50.00 FOR USE OF CITY <br />BALLFIELDS BY ADULT TEAMS <br />The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by LaValle. <br />Ayes (4) Blesener, LaValle, Scalze, Collova. <br />Nays (0). <br />Resolution declared adopted. <br />Council suggested that Morelan submit a year-end report <br />to the Council on this matter. <br />PIONEER PARK Morelan reported that the Park Commission has requested <br />PLAY authorization to advertise for bids for construction of <br />STRUCTURE a handicapped accessible play structure in Pioneer <br />Park. Morelan reported that the Lake Owasso Residence <br />Volunteer Council has informed the City that they would <br />contribute $20,000 towards the construction of this <br />play structure. The City has also budgeted funds for <br />this improvement. <br />Mr. Blesener introduced the following resolution and <br />moved its adoption: <br />RESOLUTION NO. 91-2-79 - AUTAORIZING THE ADVERTISEMENT <br />FOR BIDS FOR CONSTRUCTION OF A HANDICAPPED ACCESSIBLE <br />PLAY STRUCTURE IN PIONEER PARK <br />The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by LaValle. <br />Ayes (4) Blesener, LaValle, Collova, Scalze. <br />Nays (0). <br />Resolution declared adopted. <br />THUNDER BAY Morelan reported that the Park Commission is requesting <br />PLAY authorization to advertise for bids for construction of <br />STRUCTURE a play structure in Thunder Bay Park. Little Canada <br />Charities Plus has contributed $25,000 towards the cost <br />of this play structure, and the City has budgeted funds <br />as well. <br />Page 13 <br />
