MINUTES CITY COUNCIL February 27, 1991 Mr. Blesener introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION NO. 91-2-80 - AUTHORIZING TAE ADVERTISEMENT FOR BIDS FOR CONSTRUCTION OF A PLAY STRUCTURE IN THUNDER BAY PARK The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by LaValle. Ayes (4) Blesener, LaValle, Scalze, Collova. Nays (0). Resolution declared adopted. RUTH & Morelan reported that the Park Commission has reviewed DEMONT the City park property at Ruth and Demont and find no reason for the City to retain this property. Therefore, agree that the property should be returned to the County and put up for public auction. DONATIONS Scalze publicly thanked Little Canada Charities Plus for their generous donations of funds to the City for the purchase of a portable telephone for the Recreation Department, for plaques to be installed at the City Center and new Fire Station, and toward the construction of the new Fire Station. ROSEVILLE Council reviewed the application for Exemption from SENIOR Lawful Gambling License submitted by the Roseville PARENTS Senior Parents Association for the senior lock-in to be ASSOC. held at RAMS on May 31st. Mrs. Scalze introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION N0. 91-2-81 - APPROVING THE APPLICATION FOR EXEMPTION FROM LAWFUL GAMBLING LICENSE SUBMITTED BY THE ROSEVILLE SENIOR PARENTS ASSOCIATION FOR THE SENIOR LOCK-IN TO BE HELD AT TxE ROSEVILLE AREA MIDDLE SCHOOL ON FRIDAY, MAY 31, 1991 PENDING RECEIPT OF SATISFACTORY SHERIFF'S REPORT The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by LaValle. Ayes (4) Scalze, LaValle, Collova, Blesener. Nays (0). Resolution declared adopted. CLOSED The City Administrator requested a closed session SESSION following the meeting to discuss a human rights claims that is pending against the City. Page 14
