MINUTES <br />CITY COUNCIL <br />February 27, 1991 <br />Mr. Blesener introduced the following resolution and <br />moved its adoption: <br />RESOLUTION NO. 91-2-80 - AUTHORIZING TAE ADVERTISEMENT <br />FOR BIDS FOR CONSTRUCTION OF A PLAY STRUCTURE IN <br />THUNDER BAY PARK <br />The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by LaValle. <br />Ayes (4) Blesener, LaValle, Scalze, Collova. <br />Nays (0). <br />Resolution declared adopted. <br />RUTH & Morelan reported that the Park Commission has reviewed <br />DEMONT the City park property at Ruth and Demont and find no <br />reason for the City to retain this property. <br />Therefore, agree that the property should be returned <br />to the County and put up for public auction. <br />DONATIONS Scalze publicly thanked Little Canada Charities Plus <br />for their generous donations of funds to the City for <br />the purchase of a portable telephone for the Recreation <br />Department, for plaques to be installed at the City <br />Center and new Fire Station, and toward the <br />construction of the new Fire Station. <br />ROSEVILLE Council reviewed the application for Exemption from <br />SENIOR Lawful Gambling License submitted by the Roseville <br />PARENTS Senior Parents Association for the senior lock-in to be <br />ASSOC. held at RAMS on May 31st. <br />Mrs. Scalze introduced the following resolution and <br />moved its adoption: <br />RESOLUTION N0. 91-2-81 - APPROVING THE APPLICATION FOR <br />EXEMPTION FROM LAWFUL GAMBLING LICENSE SUBMITTED BY THE <br />ROSEVILLE SENIOR PARENTS ASSOCIATION FOR THE SENIOR <br />LOCK-IN TO BE HELD AT TxE ROSEVILLE AREA MIDDLE SCHOOL <br />ON FRIDAY, MAY 31, 1991 PENDING RECEIPT OF SATISFACTORY <br />SHERIFF'S REPORT <br />The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by LaValle. <br />Ayes (4) Scalze, LaValle, Collova, Blesener. <br />Nays (0). <br />Resolution declared adopted. <br />CLOSED The City Administrator requested a closed session <br />SESSION following the meeting to discuss a human rights claims <br />that is pending against the City. <br />Page 14 <br />
