MINUTES CITY COUNCIL March 13, 1991 CITY CENTER The Council reviewed furniture options for the City Center council chambers and conference rooms. The first option was either repainting existing council chambers stacking chairs or purchase of new unupholstered stacking chairs. It was the consensus of the Council that pricing be obtained on both upholstering the existing stacking chairs and on new upholstered stackable chairs. Mr. Blesener introduced the following resolution and moved its adoptiona RESOLUTION NO. 91-3-95 - AUTHORIZING THE CITY ADMINISTRATOR, ADMINISTRATIVE ASSISTANT, AND JIM LAVALLE TO INVESTIGATE VARIOUS OPTIONS FOR STACKING CHAIRS The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by LaValle. Ayes (5) Blesener, LaValle, Scalze, Collova, Hanson. Nays (o). Resolution declared adopted. Next Council reviewed options of reupholstering existing Council chairs or purchasing new chairs. Mrs. Scalze introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION NO. 91-3-96 - AUTHORIZING CITY STAFF TO PROCEED WITx THE REUPHOLSTERING OF EXISTING COUNCIL CHAIRS The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Blesener. Ayes (5) Scalze, Blesener, Hanson, LaValle, Collova. Nays (0). Resolution declared adopted. Council reviewed pricing on conference tables, with staff indicating that they will look at additional table options to try to find quality tables that are less expensive. Mr. Blesener introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION NO. 91-3-97 - AUTAORIZING CITY STAFF TO PROCEED WITH THE PURCHASE OF CONFERENCE TABLES AT A COST NOT TO EXCEED $3,700 The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by LaValle. Ayes (5) Blesener, LaValle, Collova, Hanson, Scalze. Nays (0). Resolution declared adopted. Page 10
