MINUTES <br />CITY COUNCIL <br />March 13, 1991 <br />CITY CENTER The Council reviewed furniture options for the City <br />Center council chambers and conference rooms. The <br />first option was either repainting existing council <br />chambers stacking chairs or purchase of new <br />unupholstered stacking chairs. It was the consensus of <br />the Council that pricing be obtained on both <br />upholstering the existing stacking chairs and on new <br />upholstered stackable chairs. <br />Mr. Blesener introduced the following resolution and <br />moved its adoptiona <br />RESOLUTION NO. 91-3-95 - AUTHORIZING THE CITY <br />ADMINISTRATOR, ADMINISTRATIVE ASSISTANT, AND JIM <br />LAVALLE TO INVESTIGATE VARIOUS OPTIONS FOR STACKING <br />CHAIRS <br />The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by LaValle. <br />Ayes (5) Blesener, LaValle, Scalze, Collova, Hanson. <br />Nays (o). <br />Resolution declared adopted. <br />Next Council reviewed options of reupholstering <br />existing Council chairs or purchasing new chairs. <br />Mrs. Scalze introduced the following resolution and <br />moved its adoption: <br />RESOLUTION NO. 91-3-96 - AUTHORIZING CITY STAFF TO <br />PROCEED WITx THE REUPHOLSTERING OF EXISTING COUNCIL <br />CHAIRS <br />The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Blesener. <br />Ayes (5) Scalze, Blesener, Hanson, LaValle, Collova. <br />Nays (0). <br />Resolution declared adopted. <br />Council reviewed pricing on conference tables, with <br />staff indicating that they will look at additional <br />table options to try to find quality tables that are <br />less expensive. <br />Mr. Blesener introduced the following resolution and <br />moved its adoption: <br />RESOLUTION NO. 91-3-97 - AUTAORIZING CITY STAFF TO <br />PROCEED WITH THE PURCHASE OF CONFERENCE TABLES AT A <br />COST NOT TO EXCEED $3,700 <br />The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by LaValle. <br />Ayes (5) Blesener, LaValle, Collova, Hanson, Scalze. <br />Nays (0). <br />Resolution declared adopted. <br />Page 10 <br />
