MINUTES <br />CITY COUNCIL <br />APRIL 10, 1991 <br />The foregoing resolution was dulys econded by Blesener. <br />Ayes (5) LaValle, Blesener, Scalze, Collova, Hanson. <br />Nays (0). <br />Resolution declared adopted. <br />PLAQUES LaValle reported that he has ordered the plaques for <br />the City Center and new Fire Station. Before the <br />plaques are cast, the molds will be available for <br />Council review. <br />CxANGE-ORDER The City Administrator presented a change-order for the <br />City Center expansion project. That change-order <br />provides for carpet base in the new Council Chambers as <br />well as wood infill on the back wall at a cost of <br />$3,038.00. <br />Mr. LaValle introduced the following resolution and <br />moved its adoption: <br />RESOLUTION NO. 91-4-137 - APPROVING CHANGE ORDER N0. 20 <br />FOR THE CITY CENTER PROJECT FOR CARPET BASE AND WOOD <br />INFILL IN COUNCIL CHAMBERS AT A COST OF $3,038.00 <br />The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Blesener. <br />Ayes (5) LaValle, Blesener, Collova, Hanson, Scalze. <br />Nays (0). <br />Resolution declared adopted. <br />LIQUOR The City Administrator reported that in reviewing <br />LIABILITY liquor liability limits currently carried by licensed <br />LIMITS liquor businesses in the City, four carry minimum <br />limits while the rest are at or above the <br />$100,000/300,000 limit. <br />The City Attorney suggested that the cost of the higher <br />limits may not be substantially more, however, the <br />particular business's experience record may play a <br />factor as well as amount of sales for the particular <br />business. <br />Council discussed the need for the higher limits for <br />temporary licenses where the events are being held on <br />City property in order to protect the City. <br />The City Attorney suggested that the City could require <br />a uniform limit for non-City related liquor licenses <br />and a uniform limit for temporary licenses where the <br />event is being conducted on City property. <br />Page 17 <br />
