MINUTES <br />CITY COUNCIL <br />JUNE 26, 1991 <br />The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Blesener. <br />Ayes (5) Scalze, Blesener, Collova, LaValle, Hanson. <br />Nays (0). Resolution declared adopted. <br />MODIFICATION The City Administrator reported that modification of <br />OF TIF PLAN the Tax Increment Financing Plan for Thunder Bay TIF <br />THUNDER BAY District would allow the use of excess TIF funds in the <br />DISTRICT Thunder Bay drainage project and DeSoto Street <br />assessments as they relate to Pioneer Park. <br />Mr. Blesener introduced the following resolution and <br />moved its adoption: <br />RESOLUTION NO. 91-6-216 - CALLING FOR A PUBLIC HEARING <br />ON WEDNESDAY, AUGUST 14, 1991 AT 7:30 P.M. TO CONSIDER <br />MODIFICATION OF THE TAX INCREMENT FINANCING PLAN FOR <br />THUNDER BAY TIF DISTRICT NO. 1 <br />The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by LaValle. <br />Ayes (5) Blesener, LaValle, Hanson, Scalze, Collova. <br />Nays (0). <br />Resolution declared adopted. <br />USE OF OLD The City Administrator reported that the Fire <br />FIRE STATION Department has vacated the old fire station and it is <br />now available for other uses. The Administrator <br />pointed out that included in agenda correspondence are <br />memos from various organizations requesting space in <br />the old fire station. The Administrator suggested that <br />the Council decide how to proceed to handle the <br />allotment of the space or use of the building. <br />Blesener suggested that a small committee be formed to <br />evaluate the requests. Blesener and LaValle <br />volunteered to serve on the committee along with the <br />City Administrator. Collova stated that he would serve <br />as well, if one of the others decides he cannot. <br />Blesener suggested that a letter be sent to the various <br />groups asking that they re-examine their requests and <br />inform them that the committee will do an evaluation of <br />all requests and make a recommendation to the City <br />Council. <br />METRO HRA The City Administrator reviewed the information <br />DEFERRED from the Metro HRA regarding their deferred loan <br />LOAN PROGRAM program that is available to low-income citizens of <br />Little Canada. <br />Page 19 <br />
