MINUTES
CITY COUNCIL
JUNE 26, 1991
AUDIT The City Administrator requested that a Council
WORKSHOP workshop be scheduled to review the 1990 Audit Report.
It was the consensus of the Council that the City
Administrator set the date and time of the workshop.
CHAMBER Scalze reported that she is on the Board of the Vadnais
ECONOMIC Heights/Little Canada Suburban Area Chamber of
DEVELOPMENT Commerce. LaValle was
concerned about eliminating overnight parking, feeling
that the City will be faced with a lot of request for
special parking permits. LaValle suggested that
posting the street as no parking over 24 hours would be
easier to police.
Scalze disagreed.
Blesener suggested that the matter be tabled, and that
LaValle, the City Planner and Public Works
Superintendent get together and come up with some
alternatives.
The City Administrator pointed out that the issue
extends to snow removal as well. The street is narrow
and Public Works feels that a better job of snow
Page 21
