MINUTES CITY COUNCIL AUGUST 28, 1991 appeared before the Council requesting that the City's curfew ordinance be amended to allow minors ages 16 and 17 a curfew of Midnight. The current ordinance sets a 10 P.M. curfew for minors under age 18. Blesener suggested that staff research the curfew of surrounding cities and also obtain the Sheriff's opinion on the request. Blesener suggested that the matter be tabled pending this additional information. Mr. Blesener introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION NO. 91-8-293 - TABLING ACTION ON TxE REQUEST FOR AMENDMENT OF THE CITY'S CURFEW ORDINANCE PENDING ADDITIONAL INFORMATION UNTIL THE SEPTEMBER 11, 1991 COUNCIL MEETING The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Collova. Ayes (5) Blesener, Collova, Scalze, Hanson, LaValle. Nays (O). Resolution declared adopted. FLOOD PLAIN Mr. Blesener introduced the following resolution and ORDINANCE moved its adoption: RESOLUTION NO. 91-8-294 - CALLING A PUBLIC HEARING FOR SEPTEMBER 25, 1991 AT 7:30 P.M. TO CONSIDER AMENDING THE CITY'S FLOOD PLAIN ORDINANCE TO COMPLY WITH DNR REQUIREMENTS The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by LaValle. Ayes (5) Blesener, LaValle, Scalze, Hanson, Collova. Nays (0). Resolution declared adopted. 1992 BUDGET The City Administrator recommended that the City's HEARINGS AND Truth in Taxation Hearings be set at December 11, 1991 PROPOSED at 7:30 P.M. with continuation, if necessary, for LEVY December 18, 1991 at 7:30 P.M. The Administrator reported that the School Districts and the County have set their hearing dates. The County's hearings are scheduled for December 10th, with continuation on December 18th, both at 6 P.M. School District #623's hearings are November 26th, continuation on December 3rd, both at 6 P.M. School District #624's hearings are November 25th, continuation on December 9th, both at 7:30 P.M.
