MINUTES CITY COUNCIL AUGUST 28, 1991 RESOLUTION NO. 91-8-290 - TABLING ACTION ON LINCOLN PAWN'S APPLICATION FOR PAWN BROKERS LICENSE PENDING RECEIPT OF THE SHERIFF'S DEPARTMENT'S INVESTIGATION REPORT The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by LaValle. Ayes (5) Scalze, LaValle, Collova, Blesener, Hanson. nays (o). Resolution declared adopted. GAMBLING Council reviewed the Application from Lawful Gambling LICENSE - License received from the North End Business Club so N0. END that they can hold a gold plate dinner at the Venetian BUSINESS Inn on Sunday, October 20, 1991. CLUB Mr. LaValle introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION N0. 91-8-291 - APPROVING THE APPLICATION FOR EXEMPTION FROM LAWFUL GAMBLING LICENSE SUBMITTED BY THE NORTH END BUSINESS CLUB FOR GOLD PLATE DINNER TO BE AELD AT THE VENETIAN INN ON SUNDAY, OCTOBER 20, 1991 SUBJECT TO THERE BEING NO SALE OF PULL-TABS BY THE NORTH END BUSINESS CLUB AT THIS EVENT The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Blesener. Ayes (5) LaValle, Blesener, Collova, Hanson, Scalze. Nays (0). Resolution declared adopted. 2558 RICE The City Attorney reviewed the correspondence submitted 5TREET by the Building Inspector in his efforts to have a hazardous building cleaned up at 2558 Rice Street. It was noted that the property owner has been contacted several times about the matter with no response. Mr. Blesener introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION NO. 91-8-292 - AUTHORIZING THE CITY ATTORNEY, CITY ADMINISTRATOR, AND MAYOR TO PROCEED WITH WHATEVER ACTION IS NECESSARY FOR THE RAZING OF THE STRUCTURE AT 2558 RICE STREET The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by LaValle.
