MINUTES <br />CITY COUNCIL <br />AUGUST 28, 1991 <br />RESOLUTION NO. 91-8-290 - TABLING ACTION ON LINCOLN <br />PAWN'S APPLICATION FOR PAWN BROKERS LICENSE PENDING <br />RECEIPT OF THE SHERIFF'S DEPARTMENT'S INVESTIGATION <br />REPORT <br />The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by LaValle. <br />Ayes (5) Scalze, LaValle, Collova, Blesener, Hanson. <br />nays (o). <br />Resolution declared adopted. <br />GAMBLING Council reviewed the Application from Lawful Gambling <br />LICENSE - License received from the North End Business Club so <br />N0. END that they can hold a gold plate dinner at the Venetian <br />BUSINESS Inn on Sunday, October 20, 1991. <br />CLUB <br />Mr. LaValle introduced the following resolution and <br />moved its adoption: <br />RESOLUTION N0. 91-8-291 - APPROVING THE APPLICATION FOR <br />EXEMPTION FROM LAWFUL GAMBLING LICENSE SUBMITTED BY THE <br />NORTH END BUSINESS CLUB FOR GOLD PLATE DINNER TO BE <br />AELD AT THE VENETIAN INN ON SUNDAY, OCTOBER 20, 1991 <br />SUBJECT TO THERE BEING NO SALE OF PULL-TABS BY THE <br />NORTH END BUSINESS CLUB AT THIS EVENT <br />The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Blesener. <br />Ayes (5) LaValle, Blesener, Collova, Hanson, Scalze. <br />Nays (0). <br />Resolution declared adopted. <br />2558 RICE The City Attorney reviewed the correspondence submitted <br />5TREET by the Building Inspector in his efforts to have a <br />hazardous building cleaned up at 2558 Rice Street. It <br />was noted that the property owner has been contacted <br />several times about the matter with no response. <br />Mr. Blesener introduced the following resolution and <br />moved its adoption: <br />RESOLUTION NO. 91-8-292 - AUTHORIZING THE CITY <br />ATTORNEY, CITY ADMINISTRATOR, AND MAYOR TO PROCEED WITH <br />WHATEVER ACTION IS NECESSARY FOR THE RAZING OF THE <br />STRUCTURE AT 2558 RICE STREET <br />The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by LaValle. <br />Ayes (5) Blesener, LaValle, Collova, Scalze, Hanson. <br />Nays (0). <br />Resolution declared adopted. <br />CURFEW Mr. Joe Saaco, owner of JJ's Bankshot Billiards, <br />Page 9 <br />
