MINUTES CITY COUNCIL SEPTEMBER 11, 1991 LEEWARD WAY The City Administrator reviewed the change-order to CHANGE-ORDER the City's contract with Volk Construction pointing out that it covers the extension of Leeward Way. The Administrator recommended that execution of the change order be subject to Mr. Kush entering into a development agreement with the City. Mrs. Scalze introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION N0. 91-9-311 - APPROVING THE CHANGE-ORDER WITH VOLK CONSTRUCTION FOR EXTENSION OF LEEWARD WAY SUBJECT TO MR. KUSA ENTERING INTO A DEVELOPMENT AGREEMENT WITH THE CITY The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Collova. Ayes (5) Scalze, Collova, Hanson, Blesener, LaValle. Nays (0). Resolution declared adopted. VENDOR'S Kristin LICENSE before UNION 76 license opening license parking Johnson, representing Uno-Ven Company, appeared ~he Council requesting a temporary vendor's for Union 76. Union 76 will be holding a grand on September 12-14, 1991, and would like the in order to sell pop and hot dogs in their lot. Mr. Blesener introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION N0. 91-9-312 - APPROVING A TEMPORARY VENDOR'S LICENSE FOR THE UNION 76 GRAND OPENING CELEBRATION TO BE HELD SEPTEMBER 12-14, 1991 The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Scalze. Ayes (5) Blesener, Scalze, Hanson, LaValle, Collova. Nays (0). Resolution declared adopted. CURFEW Council reviewed the report regarding curfews ORDINANCE established by surrounding cities, as well as report from the Ramsey County Sheriff~s Department. It was noted that currently Little Canada and Vadnais Heights are the only cities contracting with the Sheriff's Department which have a l0 P.M. curfew for minors under the age of 18. Other cities have established curfews of 10 P.M. for minors under the age of 16 and Midnight for minors aged 16 and 17. Mr. Blesener introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: Page 5
