MINUTES <br />CITY COUNCIL <br />SEPTEMBER 11, 1991 <br />RESOLUTION NO. 91-9-313 - INSTRUCTING THE CITY ATTORNEY <br />TO PREPARE AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ESTABLISAING A CURFEW <br />OF 10 P.M. FOR MINORS UNDER THE AGE OF 16 AND MIDNIGHT <br />FOR MINORS AGED 16 AND 17 <br />The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Collova. <br />Ayes (5) Blesener, Collova, Hanson, Scalze, LaValle. <br />Nays (0). <br />Resolution declared adopted. <br />DIMED CORP. Mr. Steve Marine, President of Dimed Corporation, and <br />and Mr. Lee Repke, Newcastle Associates, appeared <br />before the Council and reported the sale of a building <br />in Yorkton Industrial Park by Newcastle Associates to <br />Dimed Corporation. It was pointed out that there are <br />Industrial Revenue Bonds involved, therefore, the City <br />must approve the transfer of the title to Dimed <br />Corporation. <br />The City Administrator reported that Business <br />Development Services has researched Dimed Corporation <br />and suggests that they will be a good addition to our <br />community. <br />Marine reported on the qrowth of Dimed Corporation over <br />the past several years, pointing out that the firm now <br />employs 40 people. The firm is a medical-manufacturing <br />firm. <br />Mr. Blesener introduced the following resolution and <br />moved its adoption: <br />RESOLUTION N0. 91-9-314 - ACCEPTING NOTICE BY NEWCASTLE <br />ASSOCIATES ON THE SALE OF PROPERTY TO DIMED CORPORATION <br />AND WAIVING THE REQUIREMENT OF 30-DAY PRIOR NOTICE <br />The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by LaValle. <br />Ayes (5) Blesener, LaValle, Collova, Scalze, Hanson. <br />Nays (0). <br />Resolution declared adopted. <br />The City Administrator noted that the Industrial <br />Revenue Bond is not a financial obligation of the City. <br />RECESS At this point in the meeting, 8:58 P.M., Council took a <br />short recess.
