Upon motion by LaValle, seconded by Hanson, the public hearing was closed. Mr. LaValle introduced the following ordinance and moved its adoption: ORDINANCE NO. 349 - AN ORDINANCE AMENDING THE CITY'S EXISTING FLOOD PLAIN ORDINANCE INCORPORATING THE REQUIREMENTS OF THE DNR'S MODEL ORDINANCE The foregoinq ordinance was Ayes (5) LaValle, Blesener, Nays (0). Ordinance declared adopted. duly seconded by Blesener. Collova, Hanson, Scalze. Mr. Blesener introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION N0. 91-9-328 - INSTRUCTING THE CITY ATTORNEY TO PREPARE A FLOOD PLAIN ORDINANCE SUMMARY FOR PUBLICATION IN THE CITY'S OFFICIAL NEWSPAPER The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by LaValle. Ayes (5) Blesener, LaValle, Scalze, Collova, Aanson. Nays (o). Resolution declared adopted. PAWN BROKERS The City Attorney reported that the Sheriff's LICENSE Department has completed its investigation of the LINCOLN PAWN applicant for pawn brokers and seconded hand goods & JEWELRY dealer's licenses. As part of the investigation, there was some information obtained by one of the investigators that seemed to indicate that there were some additional owners of the business. However, the applicant, Mr. Richard Bents, has indicated that he is the sole owner and has supplied copies of corporate records that verify his position as sole stockholder. Therefore, the investigation requirements have been complied with and there is nothing to preclude the City from issuing the license.
