MINUTES <br />CITY COUNCIL <br />OCTOBER 9, 1991 <br />Mr. LaValle introduced the followinq resolution and <br />moved its adoption: <br />RESOLUTION NO. 91-10-340 - DECLARING COST TO BE <br />ASSESSED AND ORDERING PREPARATION OF PROPOSED <br />ASSESSMENT FOR IMPROVEMENT NO. 91-8, COUNTY ROAD B <br />SHOULDER PAVING <br />The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Blesener. <br />Ayes (5) LaValle, Blesener, Scalze, Collova. <br />Nays (O). <br />Resolution declared adopted. <br />Mr. LaValle introduced the following resolution and <br />moved its adoption: <br />RESOLUTION NO. 91-10-341 - DECLARING THE COST TO BE <br />ASSESSED AND ORDERING PREPARATION OF PROPOSED <br />ASSESSMENT FOR IMPROVEMENT NO. 90-21, DESOTO STREET <br />The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Blesener. <br />Ayes (4) LaValle, Blesener, Collova, Scalze. <br />Nays (0). <br />Resolution declared adopted. <br />Mr. LaValle introduced the following resolution and <br />moved its adoption: <br />RESOLUTION N0. 91-10-342 - CALLING A PUBLIC HEARING ON <br />TUESDAY, OCTOBER 29, 1991 ON PROPOSED ASSESSMENT FOR <br />IMPROVEMENT NO. 91-8 AT 7:00 P.M., ON PROPOSED <br />ASSESSMENT FOR IMPROVEMENT NO. 90-21 AT 7:20 P.M., AND <br />ON PROPOSED ASSESSMENT FOR IMPROVEMENT NO. 89-14 FOR <br />8:00 P.M. <br />The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Blesener. <br />Ayes (4) LaValle, Blesener, Collova, Scalze. <br />Nays (0). <br />Resolution declared adopted. <br />The City Administrator reported that assessment rolls <br />will be prepared, and notices for the hearings will be <br />going out next week. The Administrator reported that <br />in some instances the improvement hearings were held on <br />larger project areas than what will be assessed. <br />CHARITABLE Scalze reported that on October 2nd, the Council held <br />GAMBLING a workshop meeting to discuss provisions to be included <br />in a charitable gambling ordinance to be adopted by the <br />Council. Scalze suggested that the Council review the <br />minutes of that workshop, and then instruct the City <br />Attorney to begin drafting the ordinance based on the <br />discussion at that workshop. <br />Page 6 <br />
