MINUTES <br />CITY COUNCIL <br />OCTOBER 9, 1991 <br />RESOLUTION NO. 91-10-344 - APPROVING THE REASSIGNMENT <br />OF DEVELOPMENT AGREEMENT BETWEEN THE CITY OF LITTLE <br />CANADA AND BACHMEIER CORPORATION TO MR. EDWARD GRIEMAN <br />The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by LaValle. <br />Ayes (4) Blesener, LaValle, Collova, Scalze. <br />Nays (0). <br />Resolution declared adopted. <br />CITY CENTER The City Administrator reported that ten bids were <br />PARKING LOT received for reconstruction of parking lot at the City <br />Center, including curb and gutter and restoration <br />work. In addition to the base bid, the bids also <br />include 5 alternates. The low bid received was from <br />Daily & Son, and is below estimate. <br />The City Administrator reviewed the bid alternates, and <br />recommended none of them be used. The City <br />Administrator suggested that parking lot stripinq, <br />sleeving for the irrigation system, and sidewalk <br />construction could be handled by City staff. The <br />alternate for recycled Class V was low enouqh to <br />justify its usage. The Administrator also reported <br />that he has an estimate for construction staking from <br />Carley-Torgerson for between $950 and $1,350, which is <br />less than the $1,500 included in Daily's bid. The <br />Administrator reported that Daily and Son is agreeable <br />to the deletion of the line item for construction <br />staking by change order. <br />Mr. Collova introduced the following resolution and <br />moved its adoption: <br />RESOLUTION N0. 91-10-345 - ACCEPTING AND AWARDING THE <br />LOW BID OF DAILY AND SON FOR RECONSTRUCTION OF THE CITY <br />CENTER PARKING LOT IN THE AMOUNT OF $34,966.50, LES5 A <br />$1,500 CREDIT FOR THE DELETION OF CONSTRUCTION STACKING <br />PURSUANT TO CAANGE ORDER #1, AND APPROVING THE USE OF <br />CARLEY-TORGERSON FOR CONSTRUCTION STAKING AT AN AMOUNT <br />NOT TO EXCEED $1,350.00 <br />The foregoinq resolution was duly seconded by Scalze. <br />Ayes (4) Collova, Scalze, LaValle, Blesener. <br />Nays (0). <br />Resolution declared adopted. <br />The City Administrator anticipated a pre-construction <br />meeting early next week with the project commencing <br />very soon after. <br />WILLIAMS The Council reviewed the request of Leggette, Brashears <br />PIPE LINE & Graham, inc. for renewal of the Williams Pipe Line <br />DISCAARGE Company Ground-Water Discharge Agreement. <br />AGREEMENT <br />Page 9 <br />
