MINUTES CITY COUNCIL JANUARY 8, 1992 Administrator reported that this will be an on-going problem for the City since nothing was installed with the system in order to allow us to locate the lines. The Administrator reported that this will be a problem anytime there is excavation equipment working in the park. Scalze asked if this was a design problem or a problem of the installer. The Administrator reported that staff will be meeting with the contractor on Friday to determine how the problem came about. Scalze stated that she would like to know how this problem came to be, and asked if the City should take steps to determine these exact locations. The City Administrator reported that the importance of knowing the lines exact locations will depend on how much future construction is anticipated in the park. Mr. Blesener introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION N0. 92-1-26 - APPROVING TAE FINAL PAYMENT TO BUCK BLACKTOP FOR PIONEER PARK SITE IMPROVEMENTS The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by LaValle. Ayes (4) Blesener, LaValle, Scalze, Hanson. Nays (0). Resolution declared adopted. ASSESSMENT Mrs. Scalze introduced the following resolution and REAPPORTION- moved its adoption: MENT RESOLUTION N0. 92-1-27 - APPROVING THE ASSESSMENT REAPPORTIONMENT FOR THE SEIBEL PROPERTY LOCATED ON OLD COUNTY ROAD C AS REQUESTED BY RAMSEY COUNTY AS A RESULT OF THE DIVISION OF THAT PROPERTY The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by LaValle. Ayes (4) Scalze, LaValle, Blesener, Hanson. Nays (0). Resolution declared adopted. TOBACCO-FREE Blesener announced that effective January 1, 1992 the PUBLIC WORKS Public Works building is a tobacco-free building. Blesener suggested that City Hall be made a tobacco-free building as well. Page 30
