MINUTES <br />CITY COUNCIL <br />FEBRUARY 12, 1992 <br />LOT 5, The City Administrator reviewed the proposal of Trans <br />NADEAU City Investments that the City purchase Lot 5, Nadeau <br />ADDITION Addition from them for addition to the City's Pioneer <br />Park property. <br />It was the consensus of the City Council that this <br />property, as well as the two parcels immediately to the <br />north, had been left in private ownership so that there <br />would be adequate area for the future private <br />development of this area. <br />Mr. Collova introduced the following resolution and <br />moved its adoption: <br />RESOLUTION NO. 92-2-57 - REFERRING TAE PROPOSAL OF <br />TRANS CITY INVESTMENTS TO THE PARK COMMISSION FOR THEIR <br />COMMENTS~ HOWEVER, DECLARING THAT THE CITY COUNCIL'S <br />PREVIOUS POSITION WAS THAT ENOUGH PROPERTY BE LEFT <br />IMMEDIATELY NORTH OF PIONEER PARK AND SOUTH OF ALLEN <br />AVENUE SO THAT THERE WAS ADEQUATE AREA FOR THE PROPERTY <br />TO BE DEVELOPED PRIVATELY <br />The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Scalze. <br />Ayes (5) Collova, Scalze, Hanson, Blesener, LaValle. <br />Nays (o). <br />Resolution declared adopted. <br />Scalze suqgested that perhaps the status of the other <br />two parcels should be investigated at this time. <br />The Administrator reported that he thought the owner of <br />the next parcel may be interested in selling at this <br />time. <br />Collova suggested that it will take some time and the <br />right developer to put a proposal toqether for this <br />area. <br />BRAUSEN The City Administrator reported that standard City <br />EASEMENTS policy is to take 6 foot drainage and utility easements <br />on all property lines as part of the subdivision <br />process. However, in the case of the Brausen property <br />on Vikinq Drive, there is a Williams Bros. pipeline <br />easement that crosses the property. It is anticipated <br />that there will be great difficulty in obtaining an <br />easement from Williams Bros., therefore, the City <br />Engineer has proposed an alternative easement plan <br />avoiding the Williams Pipeline area. <br />Mr. Blesener introduced the following resolution and <br />moved its adoption: <br />Page 15 <br />
