MINUTES <br />CITY COIINCIL <br />FEBRUARY 12, 1992 <br />RESOLUTION NO. 92-2-58 - ACCEPTING THE REVISED EASEMENT <br />FOR TAE BRAUSEN PROPERTY ON VIKING DRIVE AS RECOMMENDED <br />BY THE CITY ENGINEER <br />The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by LaValle. <br />Ayes (5) Blesener, LaValle, Collova, Hanson, Scalze. <br />Nays (o). <br />Resolution declared adopted. <br />PAY EQUITY The City Administrator submitted to the Council the <br />REPORT Pay Equity report which he put together utilizing the <br />salary scales which were discussed with the Council in <br />the Fall of 1990 and using the State's job match <br />system. <br />Mr. LaValle introduced the following resolution and <br />moved its adoption: <br />RESOLUTION NO. 92-2-59 - APPROVING THE PAY EQUITY <br />REPORT AS SUBMITTED BY THE CITY ADMINISTRATOR <br />The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Scalze. <br />Ayes (5) LaValle, Scalze, Collova, Hanson, Blesener. <br />Nays (0). <br />Resolution declared adopted. <br />ANIMAL The Administrator recommended rescinding previous <br />CONTROL Council action awarding the City's animal control <br />CONTRACT contract to the Ramsey County Humane Society based on <br />LaValle's previous comments regarding Sheriff <br />Department response after hours and based on present <br />contract concerns. However, the Administrator <br />suggested that he continue working with the xumane <br />Society in the future to overcome these concerns with <br />the possibility of their becoming the City's animal <br />control provider. <br />Mr. Hanson introduced the following resolution and <br />moved its adoption: <br />RESOLUTION NO. 92-2-60 - RESCINDING RESOLUTION NO. <br />92-1-18 AS RECOMMENDED BY THE CITY ADMINISTRATOR <br />The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Scalze. <br />Ayes (5) Hanson, Scalze, Collova, Blesener, LaValle. <br />Nays (O). <br />Resolution declared adopted. <br />MULTIPLE The Administrator reported that he is in the process of <br />DEPARTMENT revising the City's employee policy handbook, and <br />HEAD STATUS suggested adoption of a policy to be included in that <br />handbook stating that no City employee can hold <br />Page 16 <br />
