MINUTES <br />CITY COUNCIL <br />MARCH 25, 1992 <br />TRAIL Scalze reviewed the recommendation of the Park <br />EASEMENT Commission to stake the trail/utility easement area <br />adjacent to 105 East Old County Road C. After the area <br />is staked, the Park Consultant will put together some <br />drawings showing the options for the trail through that <br />area. <br />Mrs. Scalze introduced the following resolution and <br />moved its adoption: <br />RESOLUTION NO. 92-3-109 - AUTHORIZING CARLEY-TORGERSEN <br />TO STAKE THE TRAIL/UTILITY EASEMENT AREA ADJACENT TO <br />105 EAST OLD COUNTY ROAD C AT A COST OF $350 AS <br />RECOMMENDED BY THE PARK COMMISSION <br />The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Blesener. <br />Ayes (5) Scalze, Blesener, LaValle, Collova, Hanson. <br />Nays (0). <br />Resolution declared adopted. <br />PARK Scalze reported that the Park Consultant has obtained <br />DIRECTIONAL informal quotes for park directional signage. Scalze <br />SIGNS described this signage which includes directional signs <br />for Pioneer and Spooner Parks as well as no motorized <br />vehicle signs for trail areas. <br />The City Planner reported the signs proposed are <br />permitted signs under the Sign Ordinance. <br />Mrs. Scalze introduced the following resolution and <br />moved its adoption: <br />RESOLUTION NO. 92-3-110 - APPROVING TAE LOW QUOTE OF <br />EARL F. ANDERSEN, INC. IN THE AMOUNT OF $1,393.98 FOR <br />PARK DIRECTIONAL SIGNS AS RECOMMENDED BY THE PARK <br />COMMISSION <br />The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Blesener. <br />Ayes (5) Scalze, Blesener, Collova, LaValle, Hanson. <br />Nays (0). <br />Resolution declared adopted. <br />LANDSCAPING Scalze reported that the Park Consultant has obtained <br />QUOTES informal quotes for landscaping materials for 1992. <br />The quotes are on a per unit basis, and materials will <br />be purchased as funding is available. Scalze reported <br />that the Park Commission estimates that it will do a <br />total of $20,000 in landscaping during 1992, and this <br />funding is in place. <br />Mrs. Scalze introduced the followinq resolution and <br />moved its adoption: <br />Page 17 <br />
