MINUTES
CITY COUNCIL
MARCH 25~ 1992
Peter Carlson, Chesapeake Partners, was concerned that
tying the rezoning to the Development Agreement might
cause delay to the project should there be a delay in
negotiating all the details of that Aqreement. Carlson
pointed out that they are working towards an April 22nd
date for final PUD approval.
The Administrator suggested that the rezoning could be
made contingent upon the issuance of building permits
for the site.
Scalze agreed that should the St. Jude proposal not
proceed, she would like the opportunity to revisit the
rezoninq decision for the property. Scalze stated that
she would be comfortable with tying the rezoning to
issuance of building permits.
Blesener agreed that the City should protect itself in
the event that the St. Jude development proposal does
not proceed.
Mr. Blesener introduced the following resolution and
moved its adoption:
RESOLUTION N0. 92-3-99 - APPROVING THE REZONING OF
PROPERTY AT 177 EAST COUNTY ROAD B FROM SINGLE-FAMILY
RESIDENTIAL (R-1) TO PLANNED UNIT DEVELOPMENT (PUD)
CONTINGENT UPON THE ISSUANCE OF BUILDING PERMITS TO ST.
JUDE FOR THEIR DEVELOPMENT OF THE SITE, AND FURTHER
APPROVING TAE PLANNED UNIT DEVELOPMENT TO PROCESS
DEVELOPMENT PROPOSAL FOR 65,000 SQUARE FOOT
MANUFACTURING FACILITY AS PROPOSED BY ST.
