MINUTES CITY COUNCIL MARCH 25, 1992 Blesener asked about the City Planner's comments regarding an entrance into the bingo hall directly from the outside. The Planner stated that the ordinance says that there must be at least one entrance from the bingo hall directly to the outside. However, the shopping center does not have to use that as the main entrance if it chooses not to. Upon motion by Blesener, seconded by LaValle, the public hearing was closed. Mr. Blesener introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION NO. 92-3-100 - APPROVING THE CONDITIONAL USE PERMIT ACKNOWLEDGING THE MARKET PLACE SHOPPING CENTER AS A SUITABLE LOCATION FOR A BINGO HALL AS REQUESTED BY MR. JIM STELLICK SUBJECT TO MR. STELLICK'S SIGNING A LETTER STATING THAT HE UNDERSTANDS THAT APPROVAL OF THIS CONDITIONAL USE PERMIT GRANTS HIM NO VESTED INTERESTS IN THE SUBSEQUENT ISSUANCE OF A BINGO HALL LICENSE The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by LaValle. Ayes (5) Blesener, LaValle, Collova, Hanson, Scalze. Nays (0). Resolution declared adopted. PUBLIC Hanson opened the Public Hearing to consider the HEARING request for Conditional Use Permit to allow the CUP FOR operation of a used car sales office at 3150 Spruce AUTO SALES Street. Since the Council had some questions regarding this proposal, and there was no one present to represent the applicant, it was the consensus of the Council to table action on this matter. Mr. Blesener introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION NO. 92-3-101 - TABLING ACTION ON THE APPLICATION FOR CONDITIONAL USE PERMIT FOR AUTO SALES OFFICE AS REQUESTED BY JOSEPH EICH UNTIL THE APRIL 8, 1992 REGULAR COUNCIL MEETING The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Scalze. Ayes (4) Blesener, Scalze, Collova, Hanson. Nays (1) LaValle. Resolution declared adopted. Page 8
