Mr. Olson has
reviewed the agreement and is prepared to sign it.
Hanson noted Item 5 in the agreement requires the prior
approval of the Parks & Recreation Director for
leasehold improvements. Hanson suggested that the City
Council might want to have more control in this area.
LaValle sugqested that prior approval be required of
the City Administrator for leasehold improvements.
Jim Olson reported that the only improvements he could
foresee would be tapping a water line or installation
of an additional outlet. Olson did not foresee any
major improvements.
LaValle pointed out that Item 12 required the
submission of daily receipt forms for the purpose of
establishing gross sales.
The Administrator suggested that this item could be
revised to require rental payments within 10 days of
the end of each month with the appropriate supporting
documents attached. This would leave calculation of
rent to Mr. Olson, but supporting documentation would
be submitted for verification by the City.
Mrs. Scalze introduced the following resolution and
moved its adoption:
RESOLUTION NO. 92-3-103 - APPROVING THE PIONEER PARK
CONCESSION STAND LEASE AS SUBMITTED SUBJECT TO
AMENDMENT OF ITEM #12 AS RECOMMENDED BY THE CITY
ADMINISTRATOR, AND AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR AND CITY
Page 9
