MINUTES <br />CITY COUNCIL <br />APRIL 22, 1992 <br />O'Connell reported that he was never informed that <br />there was a problem with his employee parking, and <br />indicated that he would comply with the City's request <br />that employees not park on the right-of-way. O'Connell <br />also reported that he could live with the limitation of <br />15 loaner vehicles, but pointed out that he owned four <br />vehicles which are parked on the premises and should <br />not be confused with the loaner vehicles. <br />Blesener stated that if there was not a problem with <br />the 15 vehicles, he would be open to considering <br />increasing the cap on the number of vehicles some time <br />in the future. <br />Mr. Blesener introduced the following resolution and <br />moved its adoption: <br />RESOLUTION NO. 92-4-135 - APPROVING THE CONDITIONAL USE <br />PERMIT FOR MN AUTO DEALER'S LICENSE TO PURCHASE AND <br />TRADE IN VEHICLES IN CONJUNCTION WITH COURTESY AND <br />LOANER VEHICLE PROGRAM AT 2989 COUNTRY DRIVE AS <br />REQUESTED BY DENNIS 0'CONNELL SUBJECT TO THE FOLLOWING <br />CONDITIONS: <br />*CUP IS TO BE USED STRICTLY FOR THE PURPOSE <br />OF FACILITATING A CUSTOMER COURTESY/LOANER <br />PROGRAM; <br />*THERE IS TO BE A MAXIMUM OF 15 CARS ALLOWED <br />AT ANY POINT IN TIME; <br />*NO OUTDOOR DISPLAY OF RETAIL/WHOLESALE AUTO <br />SALES~ <br />*ALL COURTESY/LOANER VEHICLES MUST BE STORED <br />WITHIN THE FENCED-IN/SECURED AREA OR INSIDE <br />THE BUILDING; <br />*A PLAN, SUBMITTED BY THE APPLICANT AND ACCEPTED <br />BY THE CITY OF LITTLE CANADA, WHICH ADDRESSES <br />THE CONCERNS OF THE CITY'S PUBLIC WORKS <br />SUPERINTENDENT REGARDING THE APPLICANT'S EMPLOYEE <br />OFF-STREET PARKING AND WINTER SNOWPLOWING <br />PROCEDURES IS TO BE SUBMITTED. FAILURE TO COMPLY <br />OR CONTINUE TO COMPLY WITH THE ACCEPTED PLAN COULD <br />RESULT IN REVOCATION OF THIS CONDITIONAL USE <br />PERMIT <br />The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by LaValle. <br />Ayes (4j Blesener, LaValle, Hanson, Collova. <br />Nays (1) Scalze. <br />Resolution declared adopted. <br />PREMISES Betty Strohbeen, Lake Owasso Residence Volunteer <br />PERMIT Council, appeared before the Council requesting renewal <br />LAKE OWASSO of their premises permit for their Class A gambling <br />license at the Little Canada Bingo Hall.
