This was
pointed out to Mr. Smith, who then made application for
the required Conditional Use Permit. The Administrator
further reported that the application took several
months to run through the Planning Commission process
either due to lack of information to be supplied by Mr.
Smith, or Mr. Smith's failure to appear at the
meetings.
The City Planner reported that at its last meeting, the
Planning Commission recommended approval of the CUP
subject to several conditions.
It was the consensus of the Council that the public
hearing be tabled to give Mr. Smith an opportunity to
appear. However, staff was asked to advise Mr. Smith
that he should appear at the May 27th Council meeting
to represent his request, otherwise the Council would
take action to deny.
Mr. LaValle introduced the following resolution and
moved its adoption:
RESOLUTION NO. 92-4-137 - CONTINUING THE PUBLIC HEARING
ON THE APPLICATION FOR CONDITIONAL USE PERMIT TO
CONDUCT AN AUTO-REPAIR BUSINESS AT 2822 RICE STREET
UNTIL THE MAY 27, 1992 REGULAR COUNCIL MEETING
The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Scalze.
Ayes (5j LaValle, Scalze, Collova, Hanson, Blesener.
Nays (O).
