MINUTES <br />CITY COUNCIL <br />APRIL 22, 1992 <br />Scalze asked if the Market Place and Rainbow Foods <br />would like to see outdoor security returned to the <br />bingo hall. <br />The Administrator replied that he did not ask this <br />question specifically, but indicated that the Market <br />Place and Rainbow would like to see the parking problem <br />resolved. The Administrator suggested that it may be <br />possible to resolve the problem without outdoor <br />security. <br />Scalze stated that this would be acceptable to her and <br />asked if a public hearing should be called to delete <br />the requirement of outdoor security from the PUD. <br />Collova suggested for the time being that requirement <br />be left in until details are worked out. <br />Blesener suggested that City staff work on the problem <br />and come up with other remedies. However, in the <br />meantime, the PUD agreement should stand as is. <br />FILL Russ Sundquist, 2604 Edgerton Street, requested <br />PERMIT approval of a fill permit for his property. Sundquist <br />2604 reported that he planned to move his existing house <br />EDGERTON from the property and construct a new one. Sundquist <br />is requesting permission to bring in 700 cubic yards of <br />fill so that he can construct a two-story house with <br />walk-out basement on the property. <br />Mrs. Scalze introduced the following resolution and <br />moved its adoption: <br />RESOLUTION N0. 92-4-139 - APPROVING A FILL PERMIT FOR <br />2604 EDGERTON STREET AS REQUESTED BY RUSS SUNDQUIST IN <br />ACCORDANCE WITH THE RECOMMENDATIONS OF THE CITY <br />ENGINEER, WATERSHED AND CITY STAFF <br />The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Blesener. <br />Ayes (5) Scalze, Blesener, Collova, Hanson, LaValle. <br />Nays (0). Resolution declared adopted. <br />FILL Mr. John Low appeared before the Council requesting <br />PERMIT approval of a fill permit for 730 Carla Lane. Low <br />730 CARLA reported that the property is currently owned by Joe <br />LANE Francis, but he would be purchasing it for development <br /> contingent upon the Council's action on the fill <br /> permit. Low reported that he needs to remove poor <br /> materials from the property and replace them with good <br /> materials. Low pointed out that the State and FHA <br /> require that the basement floor of the house he is <br /> Page 14 <br />
