MINUTES <br />CITY COUNCIL <br />MAY 27, 1992 <br />pointed out that the property division was approved a <br />few years ago, however, the property owners never <br />recorded the division with Ramsey County. The property <br />has now been sold, and the property owners would like <br />to finalize the division. Wright reported that a <br />developer is purchasing the large lot and will come in <br />with a proposal for the development of single family <br />homes on the lot. <br />Mr. Blesener introduced the following resolution and <br />moved its adoption: <br />RESOLUTION NO. 92-5-174 - APPROVING THE DIVISION OF <br />3120 LABORE ROAD AS PRESENTED SUBJECT TO THE <br />RECOMMENDATIONS OF THE CITY ENGINEER WITH REGARD TO <br />DRAINAGE AND UTILITY EASEMENTS AND SUBJECT TO THE <br />RECOMMENDATIONS OF THE CITY PLANNER <br />The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by LaValle. <br />Ayes (5) Blesener, LaValle, Hanson, Collova, Scalze. <br />Nays (0). Resolution declared adopted. <br />Scalze pointed out the larqe area of undeveloped <br />property in this vicinity and suggested that the <br />Planner or City staff look at the area and put together <br />a preliminary transportation or grid plan so that in <br />approving future development proposals, the City does <br />not landlock any areas. <br />Mrs. Scalze introduced the following resolution and <br />moved its adoption: <br />RESOLUTION NO. 92-5-175 - INSTRUCTING THE CITY PLANNER <br />TO PUT TOGETHER A PRELIMINARY TRANSPORTION PLAN FOR THE <br />UNDEVELOPED PROPERTY IN THE LABORE ROAD/COUNTY ROAD D <br />AREA <br />The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Blesener. <br />Ayes (5) Scalze, Blesener, Hanson, Collova, LaValle. <br />Nays (0). Resolution declared adopted. <br />LABORE The City Engineer presented a feasibility study on the <br />ROAD proposed improvement of LaBore Road from DeSoto Street <br />IMPROVEMENT to Edgerton Street by road reconstruction and storm <br />sewer. The Engineer pointed out that LaBore Road to <br />the west, adjacent to the Montreal Courts Apartments, <br />was reconstructed a few years ago to urban roadway <br />standards. The area in question this evening is a <br />rural section roadway, and the Engineer is proposinq <br />reconstruction to urban standards. The Engineer <br />pointed out that watermain and sanitary sewer <br />improvements already exist in the area. <br />Page 7 <br />
