MINUTES <br />CITY COUNCIL <br />JUNE 24, 1992 <br />Mrs. Scalze introduced the following ordinance and <br />moved its adoption: <br />ORDINANCE NO. 361 - AN ORDINANCE ADDING SECTIONS <br />702.070(11), 702.120, 703.100(10) AND 703.161 TO THE <br />MUNICIPAL CODE OF THE CITY OF LITTLE CANADA, <br />PROHIBITING BLACK JACK TABLES AND OTHER GAMBLING <br />DEVICES IN NON-INTOXICATING AND INTOXICATING LIQUOR <br />ESTABLISHMENTS <br />The foregoing ordinance was duly seconded by LaValle. <br />Ayes (4) Scalze, LaValle, Collova, Hanson. <br />Nays (0). Ordinanoe declared adopted. <br />KLEIN The City Attorney reported that since the last Council <br />PROPERTY meeting, the attorney representing Mrs. Klein has had <br />the original order for removal of the structure on the <br />Klein property vacated. A hearing has been set for <br />July 2, at which sufficiency of their response to our <br />order will be determined and testimony taken on the <br />condition of the property. Therefore, at this point <br />the Klein property is in the judicial system as far as <br />demolition of the property. <br />LaValle stated that it seemed that Mrs. Klein's <br />attorney was spending her money needlessly since it is <br />apparent that the structure must come down. <br />The City Attorney stated that it was his opinion that <br />the structure must come down. <br />The City Administrator reported that the other two <br />structures for which demolition bids have been awarded <br />will come down, and all wells on these properties have <br />been sealed. <br />LaValle asked the status of the Guerin property on Rice <br />Street. <br />The City Administrator reported that the Building <br />Inspector has been addressing this situation, and he <br />will get a report on the status for the Council. <br />YORKTON The City Planner reported that Heritage Development has <br />RIDGE WEST approached the City regarding the development of the <br />Yorkton Ridge West plat. This developer is proposing <br />to follow the same proposal that was previously <br />considered by the City, and prior to proceeding is <br />asking for Council approval of the concept. The City <br />Planner pointed out that the previous proposal was <br />approved subject to a 50-foot street right-of-way, cash <br />Page 5 <br />
