The Planner reported that there are
three existing auto sales businesses in Ryan Industrial
Park, but he could find files on only two of these. No
information could be found on Benchmark Auto.
Hanson asked the status of Dave's Auto on Condit.
Scalze believed that the permit for Dave's Auto may
have been granted 15 years ago. Scalze also indicated
that a condition of the permit was a 7-car limit.
The City Planner indicated that he would oontinue his
research on this matter, specifically with regard to
Benchmark Auto and Dave's Auto. The Planner also
indicated that he would prepare a recommendation on the
entire issue of auto sales licenses for the Council.
It was noted that the City currently has a moratorium
on the issuance of any additional auto sales licenses.
FILE Glanzer reported that in an effort to better organize
CABINETS files at the City Center, staff is requesting
authorization to purchase some additional file
cabinets. Existing file cabinets will be moved to the
basement for storage of older files, and the new
cabinets will be used in the central office area.
Glanzer pointed out that the price obtained for the new
cabinets is the State-contract price.
Mr. LaValle introduced the following resolution and
moved its adoption:
RESOLUTION NO. 92-6-210 - APPROVING THE PURCHASE OF
SEVEN FILE CABINETS FROM GENERAL OFFICE PRODUCTS IN THE
AMOUNT OF $2,762.18
The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Scalze.
Ayes (4) LaValle, Scalze, Collova, Hanson.
Nays (0).
