MINUTES <br />CITY COUNCIL <br />SEPTEMBER 9, 1992 <br />RESOLUTION NO. 92-9-312 - APPROVING THE DEVELOPMENT <br />AGREEMENT FOR JACKSON HEIGHTS BASED ON THE CHANGES <br />DISCUSSED OR TO BE NEGOTIATED WITH THE DEVELOPER BY THE <br />CITY ADMINISTRATOR, CITY ENGINEER AND CITY ATTORNEY AND <br />AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR AND CITY ADMINISTRATOR TO EXECUTE <br />THE AMENDED DEVELOPMENT AGREEMENT ON BEHALF OF THE CITY <br />The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Blesener. <br />Ayes (4) LaValle, Blesener, Hanson, Collova. <br />Nays (o). Resolution declared adopted. <br />SPECIAL The City Administrator noted the need to change the <br />MEETING September 14th workshop meeting to a special meeting <br />since the Council will need to take action certifying <br />the proposed maximum levy for 1993 to Ramsey County. <br />Mr. LaValle introduced the following resolution and <br />moved its adoption: <br />RESOLUTION N0. 92-9-313 - CALLING FOR A SPECIAL MEETING <br />FOR MONDAY, SEPTEMBER 14, 1992 AT 6:30 P.M. FOR <br />PURPOSES OF CERTIFYING THE PROPOSED MAXIMUM 1993 LEVY <br />TO RAMSEY COUNTY <br />The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Blesener. <br />Ayes (4) LaValle, Blesener, Hanson, Collova. <br />Nays (0). Resolution declared adopted. <br />LABORE The City Engineer reported that bids were taken for the <br />ROAD improvement of LaBore Road between DeSoto and Edgerton <br />IMPROVEMENT by street reconstruction. Five bids were received and <br />PROJECT the low bid was submitted by F. M. Frattalone, Inc. in <br />the amount of $230,546.60. This is substantially below <br />Engineer's estimate of $272,000. The City Engineer <br />recommended awarding of the low bid. <br />Mr. Blesener introduced the following resolution and <br />moved its adoption: <br />RESOLUTION N0. 92-9-314 - AWARDING OF THE LOW BID OF F. <br />M. FRATTALONE, INC. IN THE AMOUNT OF $230,546.60 FOR <br />IMPROVEMENT OF LABORE ROAD CONTINGENT UPON MSA APPROVAL <br />BASED ON THE RECOMMENDATION OF THE CITY ENGINEER <br />The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by LaValle. <br />Ayes (4) Blesener, LaValle, Hanson, Collova. <br />Nays (0). Resolution declared adopted. <br />The City Engineer reported that the low bid now brings <br />the assessment estimate for the project down from <br />$53.93 per front foot to $51.75 per front foot.
