MINUTES CITY COUNCIL SEPTEMBER 9, 1992 OF THE CITY OF LITTLE CANADA, PROHIBITING GAMBLING DEVICES IN NON-INTOXICATING AND INTOXICATING LIQUOR ESTABLISHMENTS The foregoing ordinance was duly seconded by LaValle. Ayes (4) Blesener, LaValle, Collova, Hanson. Nays (o). Ordinance declared adopted. CLOSED The City Attorney reported that at 5:30 P.M. this SESSION evening, City staff held an extensive meeting with the property owners in Ryan Industrial Park on the issue relating to the status of a road improvement within the Park. There was discussion at that meeting of possible settlement options and litigation. Therefore, the City Attorney requested that the matter be discussed by the Council in closed session following the meeting. Mr. Collova introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION N0. 92-9-310 - AUTHORIZING A CLOSED SESSION FOLLOWING THE COUNCIL MEETING TO DISCUSS POSSIBLE LITIGATION The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by LaValle. Ayes (4) Collova, LaValle, Hanson, Blesener. Nays (0). Resolution declared adopted. RELIEF The City Administrator reported that the Council should ASSOCIATION accept the Fire Department Relief Association Annual AUDIT & Audit and Schedules I, II, and III. SCHEDULES I, II, III Mr. Blesener introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION NO. 92-9-311 - ACCEPTING THE FIRE DEPARTMENT RELIEF ASSOCIATION ANNUAL AUDIT FOR THE YEAR 1991 AND ACCEPTING SCHEDULES I, II, AND III The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by LaValle. Ayes (4) Blesener, LaValle, Collova, Hanson. Nays (0). Resolution declared adopted. JACKSON The City Administrator presented and reviewed in detail HEIGHTS the proposed development agreement for Jackson Heights. DEVELOPMENT The Administrator noted that the developer is AGREEMENT requesting a modification to item #10. That modification would allow for the issuance of a building permit for a model home prior to completion of street Page 8
