MINUTES
CITY COUNCIL
OCTOBER 28, 1992
he has indicated to the applicants that the issue in
considering their proposal will be site improvement
requirements and building quality. The applicant will
be submitting plans showing what they are proposing to
do with the property.
Scalze stated that she had a lot of questions regarding
this proposal.
Mrs. Scalze introduced the following resolution and
moved its adoption:
RESOLUTION N0. 92-10-375 - CONTINUING THE PUBLIC
HEARING FOR CONDITIONAL USE PERMIT FOR OUTDOOR STORAGE
FOR 2929 COUNTRY DRIVE PENDING A RECOMMENDATION FROM
THE PLANNING COMMISSION
The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by LaValle.
Ayes (5) 5calze, LaValle, Aanson, Blesener, Collova.
Nays (0). Resolution declared adopted.
VARIANCE Hanson noted that the Planning Commission has tabled
90 ROSEWOOD action on the application for side yard setback
DRIVE variance on a corner lot for 90 Rosewood Drive as
requested by George Krienke. Therefore, the Council
will table action on this item pending a recommendation
from the Planning Commission.
Blesener noted that the Code requires an 80 foot width
for a corner lot, not the 75 feet indicated in the City
Planner's report. Blesener suggested that since the
lot is substandard by 10 feet in width, that the City
should only consider a variance of l0 feet versus the
14 feet being requested. Blesener suggested that the
situation may be one where the house being proposed is
too large for the lot.
Mr. Blesener introduced the following resolution and
moved its adoption:
RESOLUTION N0. 92-10-376 - CONTINUING THE PUBLIC
HEARING ON THE APPLICATION FOR SIDE YARD SETBACK
VARIANCE FOR 90 ROSEWOOD DRIVE PENDING A RECOMMENDATION
FROM THE PLANNING COMMISSION
The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by LaValle.
Ayes (5) Blesener, LaValle, Aanson, Scalze, Collova.
Nays (Oj. Resolution declared adopted.
Page 4
