MINUTES
CITY COUNCIL
NOVEMBER 18, 1992
not keep time cards. A time study was done 3 or 4
years ago, which proved to be a very time-consuming
duty given the nature of the position.
Mr. Blesener introduced the following resolution and
moved its adoption:
RESOLUTION NO. 92-11-413 - ADOPTING THE SALARY SCALES
FOR THE ASSISTANT RECREATION DIRECTORS AND CABLE TV
PRODUCER AS SAOWN ON PAGE 8 OF THE ADDITIONS TO THE
AGENDA AND AS RECOMMENDED BY THE CITY ADMINISTRATOR
The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Scalze.
Ayes (5) Blesener, Scalze, Collova, Hanson, LaValle.
Nays (0). Resolution declared adopted.
Mr. LaValle introduced the following resolution and
moved its adoption:
RESOLUTION NO. 92-11-414 - ADOPTING THE SALARY SCALE
FOR THE CITY ADMINISTRATOR AS SHOWN ON PAGE 9 OF THE
ADDITIONS TO THE AGENDA AND AS RECOMMENDED BY THE
ADMINISTRATIVE COUNCIL LIAISON
The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Blesener.
Ayes (5) LaValle, Blesener, Hanson, Collova, Scalze.
Nays (0). Resolution declared adopted.
RECESS At this point in the meeting, 9:25 P.M., Council took a
short recess. The meeting was reconvened at 9:40 P.M.
1993 The City Administrator reviewed additional adjustments
BUDGET in the 1993 Budget document. The first involved the
carry over of excess Super Summer funds, which would
allow for a reduction in the 1993 levy by $7,500. The
Administrator reported that he would apply the 1993
salary schedule to the Budget document and make any
adjustments that are necessary as a result. The
Administrator also reported that he has been notified
that NSP is asking for a 6% interim rate increase for
gas and electric. Based on that information and the
potential for a 10% increase in usage and the sales tax
factor, the Administrator recommended that the budget
be increased by $1,000 to cover these costs.
Scalze asked if additional revenues were included to
cover ice-time coordination fees.
The Administrator reported that this revenue can be
added if that is the direction of the Council.
Page 17
