MINUTES <br />CITY COUNCIL <br />NOVEMBER 25, 1992 <br />RESOLUTION NO. 92-11-433 - AUTHORIZING THE <br />ADVERTISEMENT FOR THE ACCOUNTING CLERK PO5ITION BASED <br />ON THE RECOMMENDATION OF THE CITY ADMINISTRATOR, WITH <br />AN APPROPRIATE STARTING SALARY TO BE DETERMINED BY THE <br />CITY ADMINISTRATOR IN CONJUNCTION WITH HIS <br />RECOMMENDATION TO THE COUNCIL OF THE APPROPRIATE <br />CANDIDATE FOR THAT POSITION <br />The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Blesener. <br />Ayes (4) LaValle, Blesener, Collova, Hanson. <br />Nays (0). Resolution declared adopted. <br />ICMA-RA The City Administrator submitted for Council approval <br />ADMINIS- the ICMA-RA Administrative Services Agreement covering <br />TRATIVE administrative services that are provided for various <br />AGREEMENT funds for City employees. The Administrator noted that <br />this agreement has no cost implication to the City. <br />The Administrator recommended approval of the <br />Agreement. <br />Mr. LaValle introduced the following resolution and <br />moved its adoption: <br />RESOLUTION NO. 92-11-434 - APPROVING THE ICMA-RA <br />ADMINISTRATIVE SERVICES AGREEMENT AND AUTHORIZING THE <br />MAYOR AND CITY ADMINISTRATOR TO EXECUTE THE AGREEMENT <br />ON BEHALF OF THE CITY <br />The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Blesener. <br />ayes (4) LaValle, Blesener, Hanson, Collova. <br />Nays (0). Resolution declared adopted. <br />PUBLIC The Public Works Superintendent reviewed his memo dated <br />WORKS November 18th requesting authorization to bid for the <br />EQUIPMENT purchase of a front-end loader. The Superintendent <br />PURCHASE reported that this is a much-needed piece of equipment <br />£or the Public Works Department. The Superintendent <br />reported that the tractor is no longer in operation, <br />and the skidsteer is not large enough to do the work <br />that the tractor had been used for. <br />The Superintendent reported that the loader would be <br />used for loading materials, snow removal, cleaning <br />around fire hydrants, mixing salt sand, and many other <br />uses. The Superintendent pointed out that the <br />equipment is very versatile and can be put to many <br />uses. <br />Blesener asked how the loader would be paid for. <br />Page 9 <br />
