MINUTES <br />CITY COUNCIL <br />FEBRUARY 24, 1993 <br />1993 The City Engineer anticipated that he would have plans <br />CONSTRUCTION and specifications completed for the 1993 construction <br />PROJECTS projects within the next few days. These projects <br />include Improvement No. 92-3 - Edgerton Water Main, <br />Improvement No. 92-10 - Costa Lane Street and Utility <br />Improvements, Improvement No. 92-11 - Vanderbie/Al1en <br />Street and Utility Improvement, and Improvement No. <br />92-14 - Nadeau Road Improvement. The Engineer <br />requested approval of plans and specifications at this <br />time prior to actual review by the City Council and <br />authorization to advertise for bids due to the need to <br />place the actual advertisement for bids within the next <br />few days. <br />The City Administrator recommended that any approval of <br />plans and specifications by the City Council be <br />contingent upon City staff review and approval. <br />Mr. LaValle introduced the following resolution and <br />moved its adoption: <br />RESOLUTION NO. 93-2-48 - APPROVING PLANS AND <br />SPECIFICATIONS AND ORDERING ADVERTISEMENT FOR BIDS FOR <br />THE FOLLOWING IMPROVEMENTS SUBJECT TO FINAL APPROVAL OF <br />PLAN5 AND SPECIFICATIONS BY CITY STAFF: <br />IMPROVEMENT NO. 92-3, EDGERTON WATER MAIN; <br />IMPROVEMENT NO. 92-10, COSTA LANE STREET AND <br />UTILITY IMPROVEMENTj <br />IMPROVEMENT NO. 92-11, VANDERBIE/ALLEN STREET <br />AND UTILITY IMPROVEMENT; <br />IMPROVEMENT NO. 92-14, NADEAU ROAD IMPROVEMENT <br />The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Pedersen. <br />Ayes (4) LaValle, Pedersen, Scalze, Morelan. <br />Nays (0). Resolution declared adopted. <br />LAKE STREET The City Administrator reported that the petitions <br />PETITIONS received from the Lake Street residents requesting <br />grind and overlay of the street at a cost not to exceed <br />$35 per assessable foot as well as requesting pavement <br />overlay with rolled edge are adequate. The <br />Administrator recommended that given the status of the <br />assessment policy and other factors, that the Council <br />accept the petitions at this point, but not authorize <br />the City Engineer to prepare plans and specifications. <br />Mr. Pedersen introduced the following resolution and <br />moved its adoption: <br />RESOLUTION NO. 93-2-49 - ACCEPTING TAE LAKE STREET <br />PETITIONS AS DESCRIBED ABOVE FROM THE LAKE STREET <br />Page 16 <br />
