Resolution declared adopted.
LITTLE The Administrative Assistant reported that at the
CANADA direction of the City Council at its last meeting, she
ROAD contacted the realtor marketing several properties
along Little Canada Road east of Jackson Street. The
property fronting directly on Little Canada Road is
zoned B-3 and the northerly portion of property is
zoned R-1. The realtor indicated that he has had a
good deal of interest expressed in the property, and is
marketing it from a redevelopment standpoint. The
realtor indicated that the property owner would prefer
that the property were zoned entirely B-3, since it
would be more valuable.
Scalze indicated that she would not support the
rezoning of the R-1 portion of the property to B-3.
Pedersen pointed out that the issue is redevelopment
and what the City would like Little Canada Road to look
like.
Scalze noted that design standards and a street scape
have been developed for the Little Canada Road area,
and suggested that any redevelopment proposals for this
area be reviewed by Bill Sanders so that he can
determine whether or not these design standards are
being met.
JACKSON The City Administrator reported that the developers of
HEIGHTS Jackson Heights have requested a reduction in their
LETTER OF letter of credit.
