MINUTES <br />CITY COUNCIL <br />MARCH 10, 1993 <br />Mr. LaValle introduced the following ordinance and <br />moved its adoption: <br />ORDINANCE NO. 368 - AMENDING SECTIONS 816.00 AND <br />816.060 OF THE MUNICIPAL CODE OF THE CITY OF LITTLE <br />CANADA, RELATING TO NOTICE OF FALSE ALARMS AND APPEALS <br />OF USER FEES <br />The foregoing ordinance was duly seconded by Scalze. <br />Ayes (5) LaValle, Scalze, Hanson, Pedersen, Morelan. <br />Nays (O). Ordinance declared adopted. <br />The Administrator reported that the City has received <br />an appeal of false alarm charge from Robert Pullman. <br />In this instance the City failed to notify the property <br />owner of the second and third false alarms and the City <br />has not been sending notices by certified mail. <br />Therefore, the property owner has a technically valid <br />claim, and the Administrator recommended that the false <br />alarm charge for the Pullman property be waived. <br />Mr. LaValle introduced the followinq resolution and <br />moved its adoption: <br />RESOLUTION NO. 93-3-57 - WAIVING THE PULLMAN FALSE <br />ALARM CHARGES BASED ON THE APPEAL THAT HAS BEEN FILED <br />BY MR. ROBERT PULLMAN IN THIS MATTER AND BASED ON THE <br />RECOMMENDATION OF THE CITY ADMINISTRATOR <br />The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Scalze. <br />Ayes (5) LaValle, Scalze, Morelan, Hanson, Pedersen. <br />Nays (O). Resolution declared adopted. <br />PIONEER Mr. Jim Olson, operator of the Pioneer Park concession <br />PARK stand, reported that after further consideration he is <br />CONCESSION withdrawing his request for waiver of the requirement <br />STAND LEASE of Workers' Compensation insurance for his operation at <br />the Pioneer Park concession stand. <br />FIRE RELIEF The City Administrator presented the Council with the <br />ASSOCIATION Fire Relief Association Audit Report. <br />AUDIT <br />REPORT Mrs. Scalze introduced the following resolution and <br />moved its adoption: <br />RESOLUTION N0. 93-3-58 - ACCEPTING THE 1992 FIRE RELIEF <br />ASSOCIATION AUDIT REPORT AS PRESENTED <br />The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by LaValle. <br />Ayes (5) Scalze, LaValle, Aanson, Pedersen, Morelan. <br />Nays (0).
