MINUTES <br />CITY COUNCIL <br />APRIL 14, 1993 <br />Bob DeBace reported that the Fire Relief Association <br />wanted the Council to be aware of the change. <br />RYAN The City Administrator reported that the City has <br />INDUSTRIAL received Waivers of the Right to Appeal from all be <br />PARK two of the property owners in Ryan Industrial Park, <br />IMPROVEMENT and the last two waivers should be submitted shortly. <br /> In order to get the project moving for 1993 <br /> construction, the City Administrator recommended that <br /> due to the fact that the improvement hearing on this <br /> project was closed July 8, 1992, and six months has <br /> elapsed, another improvement hearing be held for May <br /> 26th. The Administrator also recommended that the <br /> assessment hearing be held at the same time. The <br /> Administrator pointed out that a$250,000 cap has been <br /> placed on the cost of the project, and staff believes <br /> that figure will be adequate to get the job done. <br />The Administrator also recommended that the City <br />Engineer be authorized to proceed with plans and specs <br />at this time. The risk to the City is should the <br />project not proceed, the City would bear the cost of <br />the plans and specs. However, with the amount of <br />effort that has been expended into this project thus <br />far, the likelihood that the project will not proceed <br />is remote. <br />Mr. LaValle introduced the following resolution and <br />moved its adoption: <br />RESOLUTION N0. 93-4-88 - CALLING A PUBLIC IMPROVEMENT <br />HEARING ON IMPROVEMENT NO. 91-11, RYAN INDUSTRIAL PARK, <br />FOR WEDNESDAY, MAY 26, 1993 AT 7:30 P.M. <br />The foreqoing resolution was duly seconded by Scalze. <br />Ayes (5) LaValle, Scalze, Hanson, Pedersen, Morelan. <br />Nays (O). Resolution declared adopted. <br />Mr. LaValle introduced the following resolution and <br />moved its adoption: <br />RESOLUTION NO. 93-4-89 - CALLING A PUBLIC ASSESSMENT <br />HEARING ON IMPROVEMENT N0. 91-11, RYAN INDUSTRIAL PARK, <br />FOR WEDNESDAY, MAY 26, 1993 AT 7:30 P.M. <br />The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Scalze. <br />Ayes (5) LaValle, Scalze, Hanson, Pedersen, Morelan. <br />Nays (0).
