MINUTES <br />CITY COUNCIL <br />APRIL 14, 1993 <br />rented. Occupancy of the north half of the building is <br />anticipated for May 21st with occupancy of the south <br />half two weeks later. Presbyterian Homes is working <br />with Levitz and Slumberland for furnishing the common <br />areas, and appreciates the support of the City's local <br />businesses and Council. <br />ST. JUDE Hanson reported that the St. Jude project is coming <br />along nicely and commented on the wonderful cooperation <br />and level of communication with the City throughout <br />this project. <br />FIRE DEPT. The City Administrator reported that as part of the <br />TRUCK proposed purchasing policy established for the Fire <br />COMMITTEE Department, two representatives are needed to serve on <br />the Fire Department Truck Committee. One of the goals <br />of that committee is to establish a truck replacement <br />schedule as well as develop specifications for new <br />truck purchases. <br />It was the consensus of the Council that the City <br />Administrator and Mayor should serve on the committee. <br />The Council directed the City Administrator to amend <br />the wording of the policy to allow City representation <br />to be at the designation of the Council. <br />TEMPORARY The Mayor reported that the Community Pride Committee <br />SIGNAGE has discussed the enforcement of the City's sign <br />ordinance, and as a result, the Building Official is <br />stepping up enforcement of temporary signs. <br />WORKSHOP Mr. LaValle introduced the following resolution and <br />WITH moved its adoption: <br />PLANNING <br />COMM. & RESOLUTION N0. 93-4-92 - CALLING A JOINT WORKSHOP OF <br />COMMUNITY THE CITY COUNCIL, PLANNING COMMISSION, AND COMMUNITY <br />PRIDE PRIDE COMMITTEE FOR WEDNESDAY, APRIL 28, 1993 AT 6:00 <br />P.M. TO DISCUSS UPDATSNG OF THE CITY'S COMPREHENSIVE <br />PLAN <br />The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Scalze. <br />Ayes (4) LaValle, Scalze, Hanson, Pedersen. <br />Nays (1) Morelan. Resolution declared adopted. <br />ST.
