Scalze also suggested that when the Comprehensive Plan is reviewed, that perhaps the County Road C area should be looked at. Scalze suggested that perhaps the residentially-used properties on County Road C should all be zoned to Residential. ASSESSMENT/ The City Administrator reported that the Council needs RECONSTRUCTION to hold another street assessment/reconstruction POLICY policy workshop prior to April 21st to finalize the policy. Mr. Pedersen introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION N0. 93-4-94 - CALLING FOR A COUNCIL WORKSHOP MEETING ON MONDAY, APRIL 19, 1993 AT 8 A.M. TO FINALIZE THE STREET ASSESSMENT/RECONSTRUCTION POLICY The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Morelan. Ayes (4) Pedersen, Morelan, Scalze, Hanson. Nays (1) LaValle. Resolution declared adopted. CAAMBER The Council was informed that the Vadnais Heights/ MEETING Little Canada Chamber of Commerce will hold a breakfast network meeting on Friday, April 16th at the SEH building in Vadnais Heights. Bruce Vento will be the speaker. Hanson reported that Mark Ashe will be holding a breakfast meeting at 7:30 A.M. at Perkins in Vadnais Aeights this Friday as well. GAMBLING Morelan asked if there has been a definite TAX determination as to how long the City is able to keep the unspent gambling tax money on hand, or if that money should be returned to the taxpayer. Morelan stated that he would like to have the City Attorney research this issue. The City Administrator pointed out the need to maintain a balance in the gambling tax fund so that if unexpected expenses arise, the taxpayers do not have to pick up the bill. LaValle felt that nothing should be done with the fund until that Council has made a decision on the rent and other gambling issues. Page 21
