MINUTES <br />CITY COUNCIL <br />APRIL 28, 1993 <br />The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Scalze. <br />Ayes (5) Morelan, Scalze, Pedersen, LaValle, Hanson. <br />Nays (0). Resolution declared adopted. <br />RECESS At this point in the meeting, 9:05 P.M., Council took a <br />short recess. The meeting was reconvened at 9:10 P.M. <br />TRANSFER Mr. Tom Vogt appeared before the Council reporting that <br />OF NON- he is purchasing the Speedy Market site, and wishes to <br />INTOXICATING transfer the non-intoxicating malt liquor license from <br />LIQUOR Speedy Market to Gas-N-Go Superette. Vogt reported <br />LICENSE the same hours of operation would be continued at the <br />GAS-N-GO site, that is Monday through Sunday from 6 A.M. until <br />11 P.M. <br />Staff reported that all the necessary paperwork has <br />been completed with regard to the liquor license <br />transfer. <br />Mrs. Scalze introduced the following resolution and <br />moved its adoption: <br />RESOLUTION NO. 93-4-107 - APPROVING THE TRANSFER OF <br />NON-INTOXICATING MALT LIQUOR LICENSE FROM SPEED MARKET <br />TO GAS-N-GO SUPERETTE FOR THE REMAINING LICENSE PERIOD <br />MAY 1, 1993 THROUGH JUNE 30, 1993 <br />The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by LaValle. <br />Ayes (5) Scalze, LaValle, Hanson, Pedersen, Morelan. <br />Nays (0). Resolution declared adopted. <br />RADA FILL Mr, and Mrs. Don Rada, 2817 Edgerton, have requested <br />PERMIT approval of a fill permit for their property for <br />approximately 11,000 yards of clean compactable fill. <br />Hanson reported that as a result of the upgrade of <br />LaBore Road and installation of storm sewer across the <br />Rada property to Gervais Mill Park, the City Engineer <br />has discovered the existence of a concrete conduit <br />which is an extension of the Vanderbie tile to carry <br />water over to the ravine in Gervais Mill park. It is <br />the recommendation of the City Engineer that that pipe <br />be extended so as not to cause water problems upstream. <br />Hanson agreed that the pipe needed to be extended and <br />recommended that it be done at City cost since this <br />pipe provides benefits outside the Rada property. <br />Mr. LaValle introduced the following resolution and <br />moved its adoption: <br />Page 15 <br />
