MINUTES
CITY COUNCIL
MAY 26, 1993
The City Administrator felt that if the rear lot survey
provided sufficient information regarding the drainage
of 303 East Little Canada Road and its impact on
adjacent property, the survey would be adequate. The
adequacy of the survey will be determined by the
Building Official.
PROPERTY Mr. Murf Jespersen, representing Jespersen Homes,
DIVISION appeared before the Council requesting approval of a
DESOTO & property division for property located at the southeast
COSTA LANE corner of the intersection of DeSoto Street and Costa
JESPERSEN Lane. Jespersen reported that he would like to divide
HOMES the property so that 85 by 100 feet is added to the
back portions of Lots 2 and 3, Block 2 Costa Estates
from Lot 20, Gervais Heights. Jespersen reported that
the buyers of Lots 2 and 3 would like to have larger
back yards, and this will provide a variety of sizes in
the lots available in the area.
It was pointed out that the lots all meet minimum City
Code requirements and the Planning Commission and City
Planner have recommended approval.
Mrs. Scalze introduced the following resolution and
moved its adoption:
RESOLUTION NO. 93-5-142 - APPROVING THE PROPERTY
DIVISION REQUESTED BY JESPERSEN HOMES ADDING 85 BY 100
FEET TO EACH OF LOTS 2 AND 3, BLOCK 2, COSTA ESTATES
FROM LOT 20, GERVAIS HEIGHTS ADDITION SUBJECT TO THE
DEDICATION OF 6 FOOT DRAINAGE AND UTILITY EASEMENTS ON
ALL LOT LINES, AND THE PROPERTY OWNER'S SUBSEQUENT
REMOVAL OF THE DRAINAGE AND UTILITY EASEMENTS TAAT
WOULD RUN THROUGH TAE MIDDLE OF LOTS 2 AND 3, BLOCK 2,
COSTA ESTATES ADDITION
The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by LaValle.
Ayes (5) Scalze, LaValle, Hanson, Morelan, Pedersen.
Nays (0).
