MINUTES
CITY COUNCIL
JUNE 15, 1993
Blomberg reported that that language was not discussed
with her and she would not be agreeable to it.
Stellick pointed out that the organizations had the
opportunity to review leases before they were signed,
and also stated that there is no attempt being made to
exclude other Little Canada organizations. Stellick
suggested that if an organization such as Canadian Days
wants into the bingo hall, and the other charities are
not agreeable to decreasing their sessions, then
perhaps Canadian Days is designated as the next
organization in should a vacancy occur. Stellick
pointed out, however, that TCF needs some oomfort level
that rents will be paid and that there are enough
sessions being operated.
Scalze felt it was obvious that none of the four
organizations will want to give up a night in order to
allow another organization to operate at the hall.
Scalze again pointed out that Council's intent to
determine the rotation schedule for the organizations.
Scalze suggested that the matter needed to be tabled
for further consideration. Morelan suggested if the desire is to
change the rotation schedule from what has been
submitted, then MKP would have to renegotiate new
Page 9
