MINUTES <br />CITY COUNCIL <br />AUGUST 11, 1993 <br />presented to the Council this evening, and suggested <br />that the Council review them and be prepared to act at <br />a future Council meeting. <br />Mr. LaValle introduced the following resolution and <br />moved its adoption: <br />RESOLUTION N0. 93-8-248 - TABLING ACTION ON THE CITY <br />CENTER USE POLICY UNTIL THE SEPTEMBER 8, 1993 REGULAR <br />COUNCIL MEETING <br />The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Scalze. <br />Ayes (5) LaValle, Scalze, Hanson, Pedersen, Morelan. <br />Nays (O). Resolution declared adopted. <br />STREET The City Administrator presented the proposed street <br />ASSESSMENT assessment policy for Council action. The <br />POLICY Administrator reported that he would be putting <br />together some examples showing how assessments for <br />various type lots would be calculated using the policy. <br />The City Attorney reported that he had not completed <br />his review of the policy, but assumed that it was in <br />order. <br />It was the consensus of the Council to review the <br />calculation examples that will be part of the policy <br />prior to the adoption of the policy itself. <br />Mr. Morelan introduced the following resolution and <br />moved its adoption: <br />RESOLUTION NO. 93-8-249 - TABLING ACTION ON THE <br />PROPOSED STREET ASSESSMENT POLICY UNTIL THE AUGUST 25, <br />1993 REGULAR COUNCIL MEETING <br />The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by LaValle. <br />Ayes (5) Morelan, LaValle, Hanson, Pedersen, Scalze. <br />Nays (0). Resolution declared adopted. <br />34 EAST The City Administrator reported that the City has been <br />LITTLE given clearance to remove the structure at 34 East <br />CANADA RD. Little Canada Road pursuant to court order. Bids have <br />been taken for this demolition, with the low bid <br />received from Disposal Systems in the amount of <br />$3,920.00. The Administrator recommended award of the <br />low bid subject to compliance with bid specifications. <br />The City Attorney reported that the property owner's <br />time for appeal ran out on July 12, 1993. <br />Page 6 <br />
