Resolution declared adopted.
CUP TO Hanson opened the public hearing to consider the
2~MEND PUD application for Conditional Use Permit to amend PUD to
THE MI~RKET allow for the relocation of an existing driveway at The
PLACE Market Place Shopping Center. Hanson noted that the
SIiOPPING Planning Commission has recommended approval of the
CII~TII2 request.
Mr. Stewart Chazin, Team Properties representing TCF,
owner of The Market Place Shopping Center, appeared
before the Council.
Morelan felt that the main issue to be considered was
screening, and pointed out that the City has not
received a detailed screening plan.
The City Planner pointed out that page 64 of the agenda
contains a landscaping plan for the site, but this plan
did not address screening necessarily. The Planner
indicated that the primary concern is screening along
the south side of the property, and that the City's
ordinance requires screening of this area. The Planner
stated that he would like to see exactly what the
applicant proposes to do in this area, whether it be
new fencing, reconstruction of the existing fence, or
landscaping. The Planner pointed out that the
ordinance requires a 100% solid screen, and indicated
that he would like to see a plan showing how this would
be accomplished.
Page 10
