MINUPES
CITY COUNCIL
AUGUST 25, 1993
RESOLUTION NO. 93-8-269 - ADOPTING THE STREET
ASSESSMENT POLICY AS PRESENTED BY THE CITY
ADMINISTRATOR
The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Soalze.
Ayes (5) LaValle, Scalze, Morelan, Aanson, Pedersen.
Nays (0). Resolution declared adopted.
COUNCIL/ The City Administrator explained the availability of
STAFF Jim Brimeyer and Carl Neu to facilitate a Council/
GOAL-SETTING Staff goal settinq session. It was the consensus of
SESSION the Council to hire Jim Brimeyer as facilitator, due
to his availability during the first week in October
and the more economical cost involved.
5calze felt that the entire Planning Commission should
be invited to attend the session, rather than just the
Chairman as has been done in the past.
The Administrator reported that Brimeyer has indicated
that it is preferable to keep the size of the group
close to 15 participants. If the group is too large,
some of the impact of the session is lost. The
Administrator pointed out that in the past the Council,
Staff department heads, Fire Chief, Chairs of the Parks
& Recreation Commission and Planning Commission have
been invited. The Administrator suggested that a
representative of the Sheriff's Department be invited
to this year's session. The Administrator suggested
that he further discuss with Brimeyer the feasibility
of inviting the entire Planning Commission.
Mr. LaValle introduced the following resolution and
moved its adoption:
RESOLUTION N0. 93-8-270 - INSTRUCTING TfIE CITY
ADMINISTRATOR TO CONTACT JIM BRIMEYER TO FACILITATE A
COUNCIL/STAFF GOAL SETTING SESSION TO BE HELD ON ETTHER
TUESDAY OR WEDNESDAY, THE FIRST WEEK IN OCTOBER, 1993
The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by 5calze.
Ayes (5) LaValle, Scalze, Aanson, Pedersen, Morelan.
Nays (0).
