MINUTES <br />CITY COUNCIL <br />OCTOBER 13, 1993 <br />Mr. LaValle introduced the following resolution and <br />moved its adoption: <br />RESOLUTION NO. 93-10-319 - APPROVING THE MINUTES OF THE <br />SEPTEMBER 22, 1993 REGULAR COUNCIL MEETING AS CORRECTED <br />The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Pedersen. <br />Ayes (5) LaValle, Pedersen, Hanson, Scalze, Morelan. <br />Nays (0). Resolution declared adopted. <br />ASSESSMENT Hanson opened the continuation of assessment hearing <br />HE~I2ING - for the improvement of LaBore Road between the east <br />LABORE RD. line of DeSoto Street to the west line of Edgerton <br />Street by street reconstruction and storm sewer <br />improvements. The amount to be assessed is $66,595.66. <br />The City Administrator reported that the assessment <br />hearing was continued from last night's meeting due to <br />the fact that the assessment has increased from the <br />amount included in the hearign notice for the Neamy <br />property. The Administrator reported that he contacted <br />Mrs. Neamy about the change in her assessment which is <br />due to the orientation of a second lot to LaBore Road. <br />While Mrs. Neamy was concerned about the amount of the <br />assessment, she indicated that she was not planning to <br />contest it. Mrs. Neamy indicated that she may pursue <br />development of a second lot, and the Administrator <br />informed her of her options, one of which is the <br />development deferral. Mrs. Neamy was unable to attend <br />this evening's meeting. <br />There was no one present from the general public <br />wishing to comment on this matter. <br />Upon motion by Scalze, seconded by LaValle, the public <br />hearing was closed. <br />Mrs. LaValle introduced the following resolution and <br />moved its adoption: <br />RESOLUTION N0. 93-10-320 - ADOPTING THE ASSESSMENT ROLL <br />FOR IMPROVEMENT N0. 92-5, LABORE ROAD, AS PRESENTED <br />The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Scalze. <br />Ayes (5) LaValle, Scalze, Hanson, Morelan, Pedersen. <br />Nays (0).
