MINUTES <br />CITY COUNCIL <br />OCTOBER 13, 1993 <br />ASSESSMENT Hanson opened the assessment hearing for Improvement <br />HL•'ARING No. 92-14, Nadeau Road between Country Drive and Condit <br />INiY. NO. Street by concrete curb and gutter, and street <br />92-14 - reconstruction. The amount to be assessed is <br />NADEAU RD. $18,241.50. <br />The City Administrator reported that as part of the <br />Kandice Heights Development Agreement, the developer <br />agreed to pay half the cost of upgrading Nadeau Road. <br />Total project costs are $36,483.00, with the City <br />picking up half the cost, and the Kandice Heights <br />properties picking up the other half. It was also <br />noted the property has no access to this road and uses <br />Country Drive to serve the property. <br />There was no one present wishing to comment on this <br />matter. <br />Upon motion by Morelan, seconded by Scalze, the public <br />hearing was closed. <br />Mr. Morelan introduced the following resolution and <br />moved its adoption: <br />RESOLUTION N0. 93-10-321 - ADOPTING THE ASSESSMENT ROLL <br />FOR IMP. N0. 92-14, NADEAU ROAD, AS PRESENTED <br />The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Scalze. <br />Ayes (5) Morelan, Scalze, Hanson, LaValle, Pedersen. <br />Nays (0). Resolution declared adopted. <br />ASSESSMENT Hanson opened the assessment hearing for Improvement <br />HE:9RING No. 93-7, Little Canada Road between McMenemy Road to <br />IMP. NO. Edgerton Street by storm sewer facilities. The <br />93-07 - amount proposed to be assessed is $19,164.66. <br />LI`i"PLE <br />CANADA RD. The City Administrator reported that the City has <br />received a signed Waiver of Right to Appeal Assessment <br />from the property owner involved in the assessment, and <br />the County has agreed to pay their share of the cost of <br />the project. <br />Hanson pointed out the improved condition of Little <br />Canada Road, and commended the County for their work. <br />The City Administrator pointed out that the improvement <br />of storm sewer facilities in conjunction with the road <br />improvement was a good example of intergovernmental <br />cooperation. <br />There was no one from the general public present <br />wishing to comment on this matter. <br />Upon motion by Scalze, seconded by LaValle, the public <br />hearing was closed. <br />Page 3 <br />
